This is in response to the falsehoods that John V. had to my honest and truthful review at this veterinarian office. Dr. V or his director obviously haven't researched their records at HPAH because I have proof of how much I spent with my dog over the years. His response was damage control to this business, setting a very dangerous precedent of lies. I am prepared to show my receipts as evidence to his untruthfulness as well as others involved.

We are sorry that you and your pet had a difficult experience, but we only have record of two visits to our office, one was an exam and one a few days later for possible euthanasia, and the total amounts billed appear to be around $200. We also do not have any record that we terminated any services for you or your pet.
I've been bringing my english retriever who has severe allergies here for almost a year now. Spent tons of money with them to get to the bottom of her stomach issues and trial runs for a food that would work for her. After about 6-7 months, we finally finding one that would work and i continuously purchased the food from them. Last week I went in to get a new bag, and they didn't have any on hand so they asked the vet if a different kind would work and he approved it, so i bought it instead. My healthy 3yo Yorkie Biewer died while being boarded at the Canine Country Club. After bringing our dog for the weekend, I received a call from the Highland Park Animal Hospital to tell me that he was dead. It's been so painful for the entire family, I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
Dr Varga is the absolute best. Our rescue sees her and Dr Henry for routine visits and in need. Our dog is always treated so kindly - so much so that he is excited to see them.
So disappointed. Just moved to town last week and brought my dog to see Dr. Henry. She seemed super nice and very compassionate, especially in regards to my dog being 15 1/2. She told me I could call anytime and she would get back to me same day, it might not be til end of day but she would definitely call me back. I called the day after seeing her because my dog wasn't doing very well. The staff said I could have a tech call me back. I use this vet for all three of my dogs! I don't think I have a single bad thing to say. Prices are fair. All the vets and techs love and care for the animals as if they where there own. I've had some really scary moments with my dogs and the vets have been on call for me. I appreciate all they do.
They treat my Maine Coon kitten like a king! He never gets nervous for his vet appointments because he ENJOYS all the love he gets while he is there!
I love these guys. Very kind, knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer your questions and explain the situation to you. Very reasonable.
This place has been great for years and Dr. Vargo always is so helpful and sympathetic with my pups!
