We had an appointment at Hambright this week for our cat who has a tumor. The facility, staff, and level of treatment is much better than the vet we visited in Charlotte. When the tumor was too dense to take a sample, Dr. Osborne was very communicative and laid out our options moving forward. She spent so much time working with us that it was obvious she had real concern for the health of our pet. Local Yelpers seeking for a Vet, look no further. This is place!! Just recently moved to charlotte from Long Island, and was very nervous about seeing a new vet. Sure enough, found this place through yelp, called and scheduled an apt., the lady on the phone was very detailed, helpful, and very friendly. The staff at Hambright is incredibly professional and compassionate. They do what is best for your pet. They treat your pet like a loving part of their family. I've experienced the death of a pet at Hambright and they made my dog's transition a touching and heartfelt process. I have also brought my new rescue to them and they welcomed our new pet while knowing we were still mourning our previous dog. This Hospital gets 10 stars. First impression was the best impression. I will use no other hospital. I have an elderly Chow who is aggressive towards strangers. I have always done a sedate to groom but not today. They were able to groom my baby with him awake. He was a challenge but they were super patience and nice to him. He looks perfect! I can't thank them enough for their help. Their prices are reasonable as well from the exam to the shots to the groomer. A+ service.
Very impressed with the care and kindness of the staff. Dr. John Houghton was very patient, kind, and sincere. If he were a "people doctor" I would go to him. This hospital is the best we've taken our black lab to. Recommended. Jeff
This place is awesome! I am from out of town and I was extremely nervous about letting my dog go to anyone. We went to get his shots updated and they took me on a tour of the facility, as well as scheduled me a same day appointment with the doctor after some medical concerns arose with my dog. They provided me with great feedback and my dog seemed very please. One thing that I absolutely love about this vet is they do not have cats walking around freely. Met with Dr. Osborne today, and was super impressed. Will definitely be using this hospital going forward. The whole staff is amazing, and the hospital is super clean!
Lovely! I adopted a new rescue kitten who had a little bug issue. They were able to see me the same day I called and sent me home with medicine samples and a food sample. Everyone was nice and helpful and the pricing was reasonable. Could not ask for more! Peppa says...meow thanks meow.
Update August 2016 Today is my third visit, my 2 dogs were new patients of Dr. Houghton in June 2016. Since our first visit which was totally fine and clinically proficient I have become more impressed. I am a tough customer and it's hard for me offer a 5 star review unless it's truly a 5 star experience but I am offering it here for shear willingness on the Drs part and staffs for listening to feedback and being willing to implement suggestions (plus of course their clinical expertise).
