Took my 8 year old Catahoula here at 2:30 in the morning cause my dog was lethargic and panting severely. After checking in at the desk they took my dog in quickly. Then came back and said that needed to perform a blood test, fecal test, x-ray and a sonogram for the amount of $500 After agreeing for the tests and charges. Doctor came and told me my dog need to have emergency surgery due to internal bleeding caused by a tumor or cancer near the spleen. We took our Johnny in an April weekend night for symptoms of vomiting and bloody stool. The vets had very poor bedside manner. The were good about telling how much it cost, but when it came to what to expect it was like pulling teeth getting information from them. After leaving Johnny overnight, we called up and spoke with lady vet who seemed inconvenienced that we took her time to call. I took my dog in for a suspected snake bite. Although I asked the vet who saw him several times if it was possible he'd been bit by a snake--I was repeatedly told no. The doctor was clearly irritated with me that I kept asking. And she was rude. She seemed aggravated that I had taken my dog to her hospital. She insisted that he had an ear infection and had just shaken his head repeatedly (hence the SUPER swollen ear). I said he hasn't been shaking his head. The response was "he HAS. The doctor was a...wait a minute my mom always told me if I don't have nothing nice to say them don't say nothing at all. Let's just say she was very rude. Ok, so now that I got that of of my chest. please stay away from this hospital, i set in a room for 2.5 hours never saw a doctor. My pup is really sick and they told us that the other dogs there were more important and we would have to just wait longer. So i call my vet the told me to take him to mansfield emergency hospital. So I called them and told them what had just happened and they said that's not how how they run things and they would see him right away. This place is an unethical money-suck. Our 1.5 year-old lab stopped eating for two days and became lethargic, so we took him to our regular vet. They said due to a number of abnormal lab results, he needed constant 24-hr monitoring and IV fluids, and sent us to this emergency vet. Upon arrival, they made us pay $660 up front for a consult from the veterinarian (Dr. Anna)--even though our original vet had already faxed over lab results. Cruel and dishonest. Asked me for an $800.00 deposit after looking at my dog for 5 minutes. Recommended a $2,500.00 procedure, I told her to wait for a few hours so that I could take the dog to my vet. She called me 1 hour later saying that the dog was dying and that I could have prevented if I had spent the money. Losing a pet is already very painful, being told that it die because we refuse to spend the money is very cruel.

Brought my kitty cat Oscar into this facility. Oscar is about 14 months old, I adopted him in July 2017, he was 6 months old at the time of the adoption. My kitty had breathing trouble. Very shallow breaths in his abdomen, not chest. I spent 4 hours here. I was told my 1 year old Border Collie mix, Kato, wasn't going to make it unless I paid 2,500 hundred dollars for a blood transfusion that she would most likely need again in a few months for her severe anemic disease.
