Ok, so now that I got that of of my chest. So we brought Sam in because of an eye injury. It's been some days and his eye is pretty red...bloodshot actually. Well after arriving we were asked some questions about Sam...he had previously visted. Followup:my other visits supersedes my one horrible.visit and I think this vet is pretty decent Their prices are high, but if ... read more
please stay away from this hospital, i set in a room for 2.5 hours never saw a doctor. My pup is really sick and they told us that the other dogs there were more important and we would have to just wait longer. So i call my vet the told me to take him to mansfield emergency hospital. So I called them and told them what had just happened and they said that's not how how they run things and they would see him right away. So please beware of this place, it's dirty, they have no place for you to sit in the room but a wooden bo... read more
This place is an unethical money-suck. Our 1.5 year-old lab stopped eating for two days and became lethargic, so we took him to our regular vet. They said due to a number of abnormal lab results, he needed constant 24-hr monitoring and IV fluids, and sent us to this emergency vet. Upon arrival, they made us pay $660 up front for a consult from the veterinarian (Dr. Anna)--even though our original vet had already faxed over lab results. Dr. Anna spent a mere few minutes with him and then showed us her recommended treatment... read more
Cruel and dishonest. Asked me for an $800.00 deposit after looking at my dog for 5 minutes. Recommended a $2,500.00 procedure, I told her to wait for a few hours so that I could take the dog to my vet. She called me 1 hour later saying that the dog was dying and that I could have prevented if I had spent the money. Losing a pet is already very painful, being told that it die because we refuse to spend the money is very cruel.
Brought my kitty cat Oscar into this facility. Oscar is about 14 months old, I adopted him in July 2017, he was 6 months old at the time of the adoption. My kitty had breathing trouble. Very shallow breaths in his abdomen, not chest. I'm not new to animals, I'm not new to emergency care of those animals, my family is filled with nurses, we've gavage fed kittens, I've provided IV support to a puppy with parvo, a ferret with pancreatic tumors, etc. When we arrived I informed them I had already checked his gums & tongue, they w... read more
I spent 4 hours here. I was told my 1 year old Border Collie mix, Kato, wasn't going to make it unless I paid 2,500 hundred dollars for a blood transfusion that she would most likely need again in a few months for her severe anemic disease. First of all everyone seemed nice and understanding when I first came in after being referred by my amazing Animal Clinic on Camp Bowie. I was tearing up and extremely worried. I spoke with Dr. Anna Bierwiaczonek who told me she needed more blood testing done to see what was actually goin... read more
