Everything was good to begin. I did have to wait a half hour past my appointment time to be seen. Most important is when the vet went to give my dog a vaccination she stabbed her instead of pinching her skin so she didn't feel it. The dog yelped and jumped back and the vet acted like nothing happened. That was quite alarming. I didn't say anything at the time and should have. The service is wonderful the doctors are great but I feel it’s time to stop The Covid concern and that each person bring their animal and even if it’s one at a time and you go right to the room. But as we were sitting there the whole parking lot was full so may be less patients allowing then people to go in with their pets.

We certainly would like to fully open back up but our concern is being able to stay open if our staff get sick from exposure to clients especially with the amount of pets we see in a day, as you observed. We are an extremely busy hospital and letting people in one by one, even if going immediately into a room, involves extensive, timely cleaning after each of those visits and very close contact to a large amount of people daily for our staff, especially in the exam rooms. After 30 years of being a patron of Countryside (3 dogs); the quality of care is still outstanding and so is the boarding. HOWEVER, the office staff are rude and disrespectful at times. I always board my dog for 8-10 days in August. I should receive credit for doing so and was told I would. When I received my bill on 12/24/21 and questioned my credit, the Office Staffer responded, "Mrs. Williams I feel we've had this conversation before!" The vet was excellent. My only suggestion was i was told a vet asst would come in the room first. I feel like waiting 20 mins withiut seeing anyone was a long wait. And then then tbe vet came in who i liked a lot
While I understand that there is currently no mask mandate in place, I was distressed to see that no Countryside staff members were wearing masks at Sadie’s appointment on Tuesday. The exam rooms are small and social distancing is not possible. Given that I have an immunocompromised family member and an unvaccinated 2 year old grandchild, I felt extremely uncomfortable during my appointment even though I was wearing my mask. I mentioned that I may want to get flea, tick and heart worm preventive in order to round my fee up to the next $100, but the representative didn't allow it. As a result, my bill was $291, $9 shy of 3 stamps.

It's hard to judge this office since I have only known them during the pandemic, but the receptionist/phone situation is enough to send me looking for another vet. I do not want an app, nor do I want an account with a password. I just want to call and speak to someone without being on hold or receive a snappy comment from the phone attendant. Your prices are very high and I spend a lot of money at your establishment, but even if I was an occasional user, I expect to be treated with respect.
Will be glad when we can go in with our pets again and be watching as they are examined. Not really sure what is being done now during exams. Also, I felt like there was too much pressure to get extra services. My dog is old and I feel it would not be wise to give him anesthesia just to get his teeth cleaned. His teeth are in pretty good shape anyway.
