Great vet however our only complaint is that there are no options for after hours, weekend, or Holidays. When our pet has become ill over the weekend and has been with this vet for over 10 years, it really stinks that we can’t talk to someone that knows our pet and we have to go to a stranger. It would be nice if there was an emergency after hours option to speak to one of the vets. Definitely something I will look for in my next vet.

Dr Heath Thumel was extremely helpful. He was very clear and answered questions thoroughly. We have an ongoing issue with our older dog and his manner with us and our dog was commendable. Excellent experience.
This review is for today. I’ve been coming to this clinic for 23 years for all of my cat needs. I’ve always trusted them. Today I came for a follow up visit on my Mainecoon kitten for his weight and for the FVRCP vaccine. The technician came in and was preparing for the leukemia vaccine. I said this is a follow up and I I told the vet last visit I declined the leukemia vaccine as he’s an indoor cat and not around other cats. The actual appointment was fine but it took me 47 minutes after my scheduled time to be seen and about 39 minutes for anyone to come get my dogs lab work started. No one checked on me or updated me and I had to open the door myself and ask someone what was going on. More communication would have helped. Also if you were running that far behind you could have called to say you were running late so we wouldn’t have to sit for so long.

I'm very sorry for the lack of communication. Appointments were caught up and running on time, however an emergency case came in where it required the full attention of our staff and doctors. As I hope you know since being a client for several years, we do strive to provide amazing service to our clients and patients every time.
I've been coming to Coutryside for almost 11 years and the vets are fine and polite. They listen to my needs for my dog and are very responsive. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Colleen the "office manager." She is the reason I will not come to Countryside any longer. In 11 years, I've been late 3 times and around 12 - 18 months ago Colleen told me if there would be a charge associated with being late. I have two big Rottweilers they had no problems with the vet and assistant and whoever reads this yes it's me the house with the rottweilers on rolling top road lol my dogs are friendly

Everything was good to begin. I did have to wait a half hour past my appointment time to be seen. Most important is when the vet went to give my dog a vaccination she stabbed her instead of pinching her skin so she didn't feel it. The dog yelped and jumped back and the vet acted like nothing happened. That was quite alarming. I didn't say anything at the time and should have. The service is wonderful the doctors are great but I feel it’s time to stop The Covid concern and that each person bring their animal and even if it’s one at a time and you go right to the room. But as we were sitting there the whole parking lot was full so may be less patients allowing then people to go in with their pets.

We certainly would like to fully open back up but our concern is being able to stay open if our staff get sick from exposure to clients especially with the amount of pets we see in a day, as you observed. We are an extremely busy hospital and letting people in one by one, even if going immediately into a room, involves extensive, timely cleaning after each of those visits and very close contact to a large amount of people daily for our staff, especially in the exam rooms.
