We're Here Whenever You Need Us! At Advanced Animal Care we strive to be a place that doesn’t turn anyone away and that our staff look forward to coming to work. We opened in December of 2008 as the area's first 24 hour animal hospital. AAC is family owned and we plan to stay that way. We have a lot of the benefits that a corporate practice would have and yet maintain the feel of a local organization.

My Duce was so sick and no one local is excepting new pt’s due to virus pandemic I called Advanced Animal care and they was very professional and excepted him immediately Duce lost his battle this morning due to poisoning I can’t thank the staff enough for all the compassion they have showed me during this heart breaking time you guys made me feel like family instead of a customer thank you from the bottom of my heart

You guys went above and beyond last night for my daughter's rabbit! We called emergency vets within 3 hours of us and no one would see him but you guys didn't hesitate to say yes. We had to drive 2 1/2 hours to get there and you guys were ready and waiting for us. We were so devestated when we couldn't find anyone to see him but you guys gave us hope and saved his life!!! Now he is home moving around and eating. He is back to his old self again. THANK YOU!!

our puppy Zues got a bad cut on his inner thigh and needed stitches and surgery. I brought him to advanced animal hospital I was devastated and really upset 💔 and they took Zues and took great care of him and I felt my baby Zues was in the best hands. Thank you guys so much you did a fabulous job ❤️. So if your pet ever needs help I suggest you take them to Advanced animal hospital. God bless they have a wonderful staff that treat's your pets like they are their own

Dr. Crabtree and the staff couldn't have been any nicer to me and my sweet senior Labrador Retriever. One of my local Vets recommended Advanced Care, as I could get in to see them faster in Richmond than locally. Words cannot express how much the kindness meant, as the diagnosis meant my sweet girl needed to be put to sleep. I highly recommend Dr. Crabtree, and am grateful we have a 24 hour care center in our region. My deepest gratitude for the kindness, care, and knowledgeable service that Advanced Animal Care provides.

Ripley needed a vet clinic in Richmond because I'm an EKU student for anal glands to be done on a regular basis. I loved the staff and the waiting area. Ripley was very calm and handled the new clinic well. Plus if I have an emergency I know one of the vets who knows Ripley very well.

Advanced Animal Care saved my cat's life. He was hospitalized for 3 days. The staff initiated updates twice daily and even sent a pic when he started eating again. Professional, compassionate, and affordable care (compared to Lexington prices).

Our Lily became very sick after eating part of a beef rib bone. We took her to our local Veternarian and received treatment with the instructions to monitor for worsening symptoms. Just like with a human child, she became sicker and in a lot of pain during the night hours. We called Advanced Animal Care in Richmond, Ky and were instructed to bring her in. I had to bring my hedgehog in for treatment and the care was just fantastic! Dr. Cullman-Clark was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my stubborn little hedgie. The care was great and the price was very affordable! I know I can bring my hedgie in for her healthcare needs and not have to break my bank, I highly recommend!
