We're Here Whenever You Need Us! At Advanced Animal Care we strive to be a place that doesn’t turn anyone away and that our staff look forward to coming to work. We opened in December of 2008 as the area's first 24 hour animal hospital. AAC is family owned and we plan to stay that way. We have a lot of the benefits that a corporate practice would have and yet maintain the feel of a local organization.

These people are so friendly, patient, kind, and when explaining information they are very thorough! When it came to my kitten Milo's needs they were on top of it! I highly recommend!

Kind, caring , and knowledgeable staff that are there 24hrs a day / 7 days a week . So grateful we have this Hospital in Richmond . My daughter had an emergency on Thanksgiving Day with one of her pets and we were so lucky she could be seen . Highly recommend !

Fast friendly compassionate care. I had to find a vet in a hurry my usual vet would not see my Pup bc of being overbooked. a phone call later I was heading north with an appointment an hour and a half away. I knew what the outcome was going to be and tried to prepare myself. From the first phone call letting them know I was there until my pups last breath the staff was so compassionate. My gecko speck ended up with ulcers on his eyes and they’ve done everything in the world to help him. Their exotic vet knows her stuff and she’s very helpful and will gladly explain at length anything you need to know. They will be vet for all my pets from now on. Don’t care if it’s a 25 minute drive. Their emergency price is a little high, but having an exotic pet veterinarian open at night after work is so helpful.
I highly recommend Advanced Animal Care, Richmond KY!! My husband and I have taken all our babies here for 15 years! From the time you walk in the door until you leave, you can see and feel the love, care, and attention everyone here has for our babies - from the receptionists to the assistants, to the vets - they ALL treat our babies with such loving, tender care . . . When I called on a Sunday the last thing I expected was to find out my senior boxer had been poisoned with rat poison. My boxer is in a gated yard and doesn’t go anywhere so unfortunately this was very much intentional. Why I don’t know. I never have met the wonderful care team here due to covid but they have been absolutely amazing!! Always informative and caring.
