We're Here Whenever You Need Us! At Advanced Animal Care we strive to be a place that doesn’t turn anyone away and that our staff look forward to coming to work. We opened in December of 2008 as the area's first 24 hour animal hospital. AAC is family owned and we plan to stay that way. We have a lot of the benefits that a corporate practice would have and yet maintain the feel of a local organization.

We had an emergency with our dog a while back and they were very understanding and caring (even with all of the calls they received from us while he was hospitalized). We then went today and told them about a new puppy we would be getting and scheduled an appointment for him. They are all so polite and friendly; thank you for that!

Today was a hard day that started at 6am. The staff here is amazing!!. We drove 45 minutes to them and was greeted from the first phone call till the time we left with nothing but kindness, condolences and understanding. Dr Connor went above and beyond as well as her staff. It wasn’t a situation I would want to meet any vet with, but this team definitely made it a bit easier.

My fur baby Willie had to have surgery today and I had to be at work. The staff kept me updated and answered all my questions. I can’t wait to pick him up, but I know he’s in the best care! My Sassy was also seen by the wonderful staff there a few weeks ago. I’ve been so pleased with their care. I would recommend them to anyone. And I love that they are there 24/7 !
They took excellent care of our Salem. Salem was dropped off across the street from me as a kitten. We took him to get him fixed but he lived outside as our indoor cat is very finicky. Salem went missing and was gone for three days. We couldn’t find him anywhere but had to go out of town for my grandpas funeral. When we got back I heard him meowing and we found him in the neighbors backyard. He looked awful. I cannot express the deep gratitude I have for Dr. Tarter and the amazing staff of AAC for their quick and compassionate care of our beloved Ora during her sickness and passing. Thank you all.
Dr. Allison Conner is amazing! I brought my puppy in for his annual shots this morning and she was so helpful, gave me good puppy teething advice and loved on my puppy like he was her own! I usually take my older dog to Barnes Mill Animal Hospital but now i will be switching her to Advanced!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. I am an overly concerned dog mom. Not only did they get my dog, who was a new patient, in for an appointment within two hours of my call—they helped comfort him and treat underlying issues other than what I went for. The vet truly cared and was extremely knowledgeable. And as if that isn’t enough, they have answered my rather annoying daily phone calls with updates about my dog, just in case I needed to come back in. They are the best. I came here for the first time two weeks ago with a 16 yr old dog suffering from HGE, hookworms and whip worms. I couldn’t afford hospitalization so they gave me medicines and sent me home with home care instructions. A week later my friends dog was confirmed at another clinic to have Parvo and again hospitalization wasn’t in their budget. Though they weren’t patients of Advanced Animal Care, the staff here allowed me to call daily for advice and help that wasn’t offered from the other clinics.
