We're Here Whenever You Need Us! At Advanced Animal Care we strive to be a place that doesn’t turn anyone away and that our staff look forward to coming to work. We opened in December of 2008 as the area's first 24 hour animal hospital. AAC is family owned and we plan to stay that way. We have a lot of the benefits that a corporate practice would have and yet maintain the feel of a local organization.

Our dog Piper was spayed at a different vet near our home. She just didn’t act right afterwards for days. I took her to be checked out by the office that did the spay and they said she was fine. That night she was definitely not fine. Called Advanced in Richmond and told them she needed to be seen, told me to come in. Very friendly staff, examined Piper to find out she needed surgery again on a very early Saturday morning. Highly recommend! Thank you again!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff are some of the sweetest & most helpful humans I have ever met. They were very quick got us straight in in an emergency situation & took their time figuring out how to treat him the right way. They took such good care of my dog buckeye & I can’t thank them enough! 💗

We drove two hours to Advance Animal Care after our bunny started showing signs of gi stasis late at night. It was well worth the drive! Dr. Victoria Crabtree and staff were amazing! Highly recommend! 🐰💕

My puppy got sick while I was on vacation. I was able to call them & they got her straight in. If it wasn’t for Advanced Animal Care we would have lost our sweet Izzy. So very thankful for how amazing they were with our girl.

Hunter and I LOVE Advanced Animal Care in Richmond. The Dr's and staff are all so nice and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable and always take their time when checking him. AND, we don't have to sit and wait for hours. They are open 24 hrs day/week, 365 days. And with Hunter being a diabetic, momma needs to get me seen different times of the day. They are constantly loving on him, talking to him, and giving him kisses. We are so thankful for AAC.

Took my dog to them because she sick and acting very strange. They did everything they could to find out what was going on and helped her. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and took amazing care of my dog. I can’t thank them enough
