We're Here Whenever You Need Us! At Advanced Animal Care we strive to be a place that doesn’t turn anyone away and that our staff look forward to coming to work. We opened in December of 2008 as the area's first 24 hour animal hospital. AAC is family owned and we plan to stay that way. We have a lot of the benefits that a corporate practice would have and yet maintain the feel of a local organization.

RecommendedMy gecko speck ended up with ulcers on his eyes and they’ve done everything in the world to help him. Their exotic vet knows her stuff and she’s very helpful and will gladly explain at length anything you need to know. They will be vet for all my pets from now on. Don’t care if it’s a 25 minute drive. Their emergency price is a little high, but having an exotic pet veterinarian open at night after work is so helpful.
I highly recommend Advanced Animal Care, Richmond KY!! My husband and I have taken all our babies here for 15 years! From the time you walk in the door until you leave, you can see and feel the love, care, and attention everyone here has for our babies - from the receptionists to the assistants, to the vets - they ALL treat our babies with such loving, tender care . . . When I called on a Sunday the last thing I expected was to find out my senior boxer had been poisoned with rat poison. My boxer is in a gated yard and doesn’t go anywhere so unfortunately this was very much intentional. Why I don’t know. I never have met the wonderful care team here due to covid but they have been absolutely amazing!! Always informative and caring. absolutely wonderful staff. So sweet and loving. Being how we can't come in with our little baby right now due to Covid-19, they were very informative calling and letting me know every single thing and test ran on my Max. Every test result. Literally everything. I felt so much better knowing he was in very caring and loving hands and being very well taken care of. And given the proper medication.

amazing people, our little lucy had jumped off our bed and hurt her foot and she was in alot of pain they took care of her even at this time of night and treated her as if she was their own fur baby. thank you guys so much!

These are some of the greatest people ever!! The staff is so caring, and willing to explain what’s going on, at any time day or night. They were able to save our seven month old Chihuahua from Parvo in three days, and sent us home with everything we needed to be able to treat him at home afterwards. Dr Lew and vet tech Kayla have our undying support for pulling our little Gremlin through this!
