About Russell Ridge Animal Hospital GVA opened its doors in 2003 with Russell Ridge Animal Hospital, realizing Dr. Brad Miller and Dr. Michael Wanchick's dream to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for small animal patients. In 2005 the doctors opened Hamilton Ridge Animal Hospital in Buford, and then in 2007, Apalachee Ridge Animal Hospital was opened in Dacula. Lastly, Camden Village Animal Hospital was opened in 2013 to serve the Johns Creek/Duluth/Alpharetta areas.

They’re beyond compassionate and amazing with your pets! Recently my family had to say good bye to our amazing cat who was 17 1/2 yrs old. They helped me and my family make this difficult decision with love, compassion and understanding. I have truly found my forever vet! I no longer have any pets as of now but when it’s time for me to get one they are the one who’s going to take care of her needs!

Russell Ridge is such a great animal hospital. They took impeccable care of our Colby biscuit. Our sweet boy was diagnosed with diabetes about a year ago and he also had pancreatitis along with neurological issues. Dr. Hines especially took great care of our sweet boy. When the time came to let him go, the staff here were so caring and sympathetic to our situation and they made process as comforting as possible. We will be using them indefinitely for all of our fur babies!
Wonderful Doctors and wonderful staff all around. We bring our guy here for everything, including his grooming. Highly recommend them!

Yesterday we had to put down our sweet dog Raider. The staff at Russell Ridge took care of my dog for 14 years! I’m so thankful for all of them. My dog was always so happy to go there and was treated with so much love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Love this place and all of its staff! Dr. Miller could not have been more caring and thorough in explaining my dog's knee surgery. And the follow-up care with the staff has been a pleasure. Started out just going here for the orthopedic surgery, but am moving all my pet care to Russell Ridge for the future.
I highly recommend these wonderful people to take care of your pets needs.
Incredibly caring veterinary doctors. We have taken our dog here for a while. We recently took our cat as well when he seemed sick. We had an emergency yesterday with our cat, as he suffered from saddle thrombus, or Feline Aortic Thromboembolism, which left his two back feet useless and our boy in pain. The staff and doctors didn’t blink as we rushed him in. They cared for him as well as us. Dr. Evans was amazing.
