About Russell Ridge Animal Hospital GVA opened its doors in 2003 with Russell Ridge Animal Hospital, realizing Dr. Brad Miller and Dr. Michael Wanchick's dream to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for small animal patients. In 2005 the doctors opened Hamilton Ridge Animal Hospital in Buford, and then in 2007, Apalachee Ridge Animal Hospital was opened in Dacula. Lastly, Camden Village Animal Hospital was opened in 2013 to serve the Johns Creek/Duluth/Alpharetta areas.

To start, the facility is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and attentive. They really “listen” to you, take their time with you and thoroughly explain and communicate to you. I highly recommend them and will be transitioning all of my fur kids to this Veterinarian Office. Thank you for a very positive experience!!
We’ve been taking our pets to Russell Ridge for a few years now and I am so thankful for them. The staff are all extremely caring and the doctors and techs always take the time to talk to me and answer any questions I may have. I have one angel dog and one problem child and they understand how to work with her and not push her past her limit. Dr Hines is our primary veterinarian and she is amazing! She knows my dogs well and takes great care of them. I appreciate being able to get in next day when my old man has a back ache ... read more

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we lost our sweet fur-baby Callie. It was sudden and unexpected and we were devastated. The vet and the staff at Russell Ridge Animal Hospital were so incredibly kind, caring and gentle with us as we said goodbye to her. They did everything they could to help us through the difficult process...Jennifer even walked us to our car afterwards and gave me the sweetest hug.
