I would not recommend this veterinary office to anyone. We pay an expensive yearly membership that cannot be broken only to be met with extremely limited office hours and incompetence. Although the staff always appears to be friendly, we have encountered several errors in scheduling, medication pickup locations, and excuses. Pet passed to due veterinary negligence. Phone call after phone call the receptionist and exotics animal doctor I talked to constantly gave me a different answer or direction in what to do in case my pet wasn't eating or taking the medication.
I contacted the Irvine Valley Pet hospital to see a African Dwarf Frog with bloat. They want $178.47 to see an animal. This does not include treatment, only the visit. A fee this high to walk in the door is usury, not usual or customary and shows that they are doing their best to take advantage any customer. When I asked about the fee the rep responded that they have payment plan available:)
They charge a $350 annual membership fee to see a vet. Prior to covid they were great had such a great experience for years and then they decided they could make more off their customers by marketing the idea that paying an annual membership you can make an appointment and see a doctor (like any other office) and you get vet visits free.
