My senior 14 year old dog randomly developed a limp and was screaming in pain so in my panic, I called Irvine Valley Vet to see what their wait time was. When they said they could see him in 30 minutes, I rushed him over. It turned out to be just a bee sting to his paw but I was so impressed by their facilities, the level of care, and the warmth of the staff. For some insight to this review Maverick had ruptured 3 disks in his back in March of 2022 in which he was unable to use his back legs and had to undergo surgery. After a few months of rest, recovery, and assistance on my end he was able to regain use of his back legs with some limitations and seemingly no pain. During that time period the neurologist that performed the surgery did not recommend any physical therapy although a shake in his back right leg and apparent resting of weight primarily on his front legs. I am so grateful to have this 24hrs vet hospital in my neighborhood. At this point all my 3 pets have been there for urgent care, and each time I was very satisfied with their efficiency, and compassionate interactions. They give you options to wait at home, in your car...etc and give you prompt updates on the situation. I recommend this place!

Just wanted to give the staff and Dr C Bobula a shout out. On Monday I took my new puppy in who tested positive for parvo. I wasn't pressured into any unnecessary added costs, they listened to me didn't make me feel guilty about not being able to admit my pup. I was given outpatient supplies / medications / and instructions, and currently my pup is doing well! They listen and care here Dr bobula is incredibly empathetic and informative, this will be my go to now, if any emergencies happen in the future.

Dr. Nauss has been a practicing vet for over a decade. He is extremely knowledgeable about both cutting edge veterinary care techniques, as well as general topics. The technicians and staff are equally skillful. You won't find better veterinary care in OC than Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Nauss is an excellent vet. He is very smart, but also extremely kind and compassionate. You can tell when he examines your dog that he cares how they are doing. He is extremely personable, responsive and helpful. I don't know how he does it, but he always remembers details about my dog. And he knows soooo much about veterinary medicine. Can't say enough good things about Irvine Valley Vet and Dr. Nauss! We moved to Irvine a little over a year ago and really struggled to find a vet we liked (we saw several, our dog has allergies) - finally we found Irvine Valley and immediately we loved the place. They're so patient with our dog and it's clear they genuinely care about her health. At every chance they go above and beyond. We recommend them to everyone. If I could give ten stars I would!

Very kind and friendly- took us as a walk in. Our Prince is old and they were so kind and gentle. Didn't try to sell more then what was needed. Facility was very clean and welcoming!

We tried IVVH today and were pleasantly surprised. The front staff, Ashley was very nice and helpful. Dr. Nauss is very caring and patient with both our anxious puppy and us. He is very knowledgable, great at explaining things, and answered every question that we had. It was our first time, so we were a bit skeptical but it looks like we will be staying here permanently :)
