HORRIBLE! This place is extremely unprofessional, confused and will bill you for just about everything & anything they can! I had the unfortunate experience of having Richard Rossman almost each time I visited this place. Each time a huge list of everything he wanted to do. I have 2 female standard Schnauzers, one of them has a known thyroid condition (identified by the breeder) and took thyro tabs 0.5mg for a while. Upon visiting this office, R. Rossman each time, wanted to do a blood test for changing thyro tab dosage. ... read more

Business response:

Standard veterinary care requires periodic blood tests to monitor thyroid levels for pets on these medications. This helps us make sure the dosage is perfectly tailored to keep your pet healthy. We are truly sorry for any confusion or if we did not communicate this clearly. Your pet's safety is our top priority, and we are always happy to answer any questions you have about our treatment recommendations.

STAY AWAY. WARN FRIENDS AND FAMILY. TOO MANY HORROR STORIES FROM THIS PLACE- including mistakes on their end that resulted in death of pet (and will still charge you double). With 5+ years working in animal hospitals, I can confidently say this is the worst possible hospital, honestly dangerous. Dr. Richard Rossman is well above the age to practice, should be put into elder care. Senile. Not safe to be working with people, animals, or medication. Him and his daughter/granddaughter are disrespectful, unprofessional, confused,... read more

Before detailing our horrible experience with Dr. Rossman, I'd like to preface that Dr Anna Kopec is WONDERFUL. We've been taking our two family dogs there since they were puppies and she is such an attentive, calm, and respectful doctor and person. We highly recommend Dr. Kopec. However, we had the absolute worst experience with Dr. Richard Rossman yesterday. We had to put down our dog of 15 years, and unfortunately the timing with work led us to have to go to the clinic just before closing time. The staff knew our pup an... read more

Really shocked at how I was treated at Glen-Oak! I was very careful to go over the cost for the visit with the rep on the phone before I made the appt. which was extremely traumatic for my cat, but I trusted the doctor's advice and proceeded with her recommendations. (I can't comment on the level of her expertise, I really don't know.) After the appt. when the tech presented me with the bill, they charged me DOUBLE the rate I agreed to. I balked at that since I was not prepared to pay that amount and if I knew that I would n... read more

I would like to give a Zero . I have been trying to treat my cat Ziggy with onset diabetesI have been to the office 11 times and kept raising the insulin Dr Rossman has been a family friend and a vet for all of are animals. I brought Ziggy in this morning for a glucose check his glucose was 46 . The assistant gave him Nutri_Cal. I asked them to call him. They told me he said to send him home and eat. Mind you a low level for a cat is 100-120. I brought Ziggy home let him eat and had to leave for a Dr Appt when I came home h... read more

Because we had only brought our pets during covid we hadn't actually been inside. The first time walking in after dr Ashley saw our dog a handful of times was the last time. I couldn't believe how disgusting and awful smelling it was when they charge an arm and a leg for a 5 min exam. I tried to be pleasant with the new dr I saw - the male dr. He didn't introduce himself, didn't read my dogs history, no prep. Asked what was wrong and tried prescribing him an antibiotic because he threw up today. I told him it seemed he vomit... read more

Worst place to bring your pets. I asked for a vaccine certification for puppy classes and the receptionist was rude and never gave me the certification when I asked for it 2 days in a row.

This place does not have enough staff. I have been trying to call them for two days and they answer the phone and put you on hold so fast you can't even get in if you're ready. to speak "Glen Oak, Please hold" and they put you on hold. They are so fast they don't even say the whole name of the business. Once you are on hold, you sit there, listening to the canned music, for ten minutes or so, and then you are disconnected. I just moved to the area from out of state, and have established with these folks, have sent my cat's r... read more

I went to glen oak hospital for 25+ years, had two standard poodles. Dr. Rossman senior was wonderful, truly loved dogs and was always kind to our two. When he was mostly retired, his daughter Ashley took over. When our 2nd dog was elderly and very ill we brought her in for euthanasia, Dr. Ashley Rossman was cold and insensitive, literally hooked our dog up on the stand, omg! I was in shock and should have stopped her! we should have been holding our beloved Mia! she euthanized her right then ad there, no kindness, no e... read more
