This Veternary is family owned and has excellent staff! How I came about to find out Glen oak was when I was 17 and doing my senior project for Glenbrook south. Dr Rossman was kind enough to let me work there as a intern to see what goes on at vets office. I had aspirations of working in a Clinc one day. I got to see the day by day interactions they had with their clients. They really do care about each and every one of them. Through out the years i took my dog here, as I know first had they are great vets and honest people.... read more

I've been bringing my cat, Romeo, here with Dr. Rossman and he has been nothing but compassionate, caring and understanding. Both him and his daughter. I don't know the other doctors so I can't speak for them but I'm very happy with the service and care my furball has received. Thank you!!!

I really miss this place, especially after my last visit to my current vet. In 1987 we got adopted by a small kitten who'd been taken from his mother too soon. He didn't know much about being a cat, and we didn't know much about being cat owners. Another cat came along to help teach him the things his mother would have, and we soon started going to the Glen Oak Dog and Cat Hospital for their care. They provided us with the information and care we needed to become responsible pet owners, and were within walking distance. Our... read more

I went here on the recommendation of the shelter who adopted out my senior cat to me. The week before, I had gone to a very new, VERY fancy practice in the city who charged me an arm and a leg on the first visit to check out some GI issues and also recommended a $700 dental cleaning. The shelter set me up with Glen Oak instead because it's the vet they use and trust. I walked in and it looks like an old school doctor's office. No fancy pillows, no bright magnets and pens with the practice name on it, no rooms that looked li... read more

Contacted glen oak because my cat had a pretty bad swollen arm. Spoke with Monika at the front and she was very helpful. Came there out of the blue with no appt, and they saw me right away. Dr. Anna Kopec was extremely polite and helpful. She took care of my cat with care and knew right away what happened. Besides the great care and helpfulness, they did not charge me an arm and a leg. Would highly recommend this vet clinic if you want the best care for your pet. Will definitely be going back!

I've been bringing my dog to Glen Oak for about 7 years and I am extremely pleased with the services that I've received. Dr. Ashley is our primary vet, and my dog is beyond excited to see her everytime we go in for shots (pretty unusual for a dog to be happy to receive shots, right?) When my dog tore her ACL last fall, Dr. Ashley was very helpful in rehabing the injury and tried to avoid a very expensive surgery. Unfortunately, my dog did end up having surgery eventually, but due to Dr. Ashley's extensive rehab process,... read more

My cat and dog absolutely loved service and treatment! Cat's ear infection was diagnosed right away, and my stubborn cat, who is like tiger at home, acted like sweet lamb there, letting his ears be cleaned, nails trimmed, got his show -and is in great shape. Our puppy felt so loved, that she did not even notice how hew vaccination was completed, and I felt happy with prices - downtown Chicago they were much higher, and with wonderful attitude and love for my pets. Doctors and staff are simply THE BEST.

Great place great vet. No frills, just great pet care....there is also some piece of mind knowing your not being over charged to cover the mortgage for a fancy "pet spa, boutique, wellness center". The group knows animals and has always quickly and accurately diagnosed any issue with our two yellow labs. I would consider Glen Oak the best vet in the area and would recommend them to anyone.
