I adopted my 4 year old GSP/Husky mix from a local rescue organization and they recommended Dr. Wages. My dog is a pretty timid girl and doesn't open up to humans easily. Despite this, I have been very pleased with the staff at Oberlin for keeping her calm, comfortable, and wagging her tail throughout the whole exam! Dr. Wages and her staff provide multiple, reasonable estimates prior to delivering care which takes the guess-work out of the equation. Highly recommend this location for your K9 veterinarian needs!

We have dogs, rabbits, and now a cat! And Carefirst has been amazing with all our pets. Dr Wages is my favorite. Plus they take the SPCA voucher for spay/neuter and almost always have last minute appointments for urgent issues. I recommend Carefirst & Dr Wages to everyone!!!!

I can't thank Dr. Wages enough! My adorable pup was so well taken care of under the supervision and care from this hospital. I had an accident with my puppy back in November with an unfortunate result of a broken back. Thanks to the team I had at Care First in Oberlin. My little Iris (pomeranian) has been able to show exceptional recovery results. Again, thank you for all you guys do in your fields. The professionalism and reassurance with transparency of the incident during the recovery process was what our family needed. K... read more

Twice. TWICE this amazing group of people has saved my dog. The first time was 5 years ago when I brought her in for a lump next to her spine that no fewer than three other vets had misdiagnosed. It was an aggressive round cell cancer. They removed it, and for 5 years, we had no other problems. All of the sudden a growth appeared in my now 13-year-old malamute's mouth. It grew to over two inches extremely quickly. We had moved two hours away, but none of the vets in our location were either reasonably priced or even a fracti... read more

This is my first and last visit with the Oberlin location. I told them in advance that my dog has severe anxiety and requires a lot of patience when caring for him. I did not realize they had 2 locations and my appt was for Glenwood, so when I arrived and realized I was at the wrong one, they told me they would take my dog in at Oberlin instead. I was greeted by the male vet tech in the parking lot with "Uhh, I forgot the dogs name, just come with me." That should have been my sign to leave. Not only did the tech have zero ... read more
