RecommendedGrooming! Nicole S has been grooming our Cavapoo since shes a puppy. Nicole always does such a good job as well as Remi loves her. Nicole treats all her ( babies)dogs like her own. Great facility all around,boarding and veterinary care. Highly recommend.
Tonight we had a terrible scare, our mini doxie, Finnegan, bit a very large bufo toad. It was terrible, he immediately started foaming at the mouth. Panic ensued, My daughter rinsed his mouth and We drove to Calusa. We were greeted by Savannah who took him back immediately. Dr. Johnson and Jennifer examined him, checked his vitals and made sure he was stable. Savannah kept us company and reassured us while we waited. They will quickly take your pet if you’re an emergency. Very clean office, and the staff is nice and caring.
My vet diagnosed my dog with diabetes and insisted that I start insulin injections even though she showed no symptoms. in my search for a second opinion, I came across Calusa Vet Center on google. My visit to Calusa exceeded all my expectations. We put the dog on a homemade diet and her sugar stabilized. I can't even begin to imagine what would have happened if I listed to my previous vet. I want to thank all the wonderful nurses, admins and doctors at Calusa for taking such good care of my baby, Bella. She was very ill when she arrived at your hospital and I am beyond grateful for the care she received. I want to especially recognize Dr. Ranade and Dr. McLeod for their excellent care and knowledge and for their patience in explaining every step of her treatments and updating us on her condition. Thank you so much! I am beyond thrilled to have my Bella back home today!!

Hi I am from Pa and my pet Teddy the Pomeranian was experiencing difficulty with his ear .Dr Turkell and his staff were wonderful as Teddy is also very anxious and is nervous around new people .Dr Turkell spent a lot of time with me outside discussing Teddy and giving me a very helpful handout on foods to feed him .I wish I had a vet like him back in Pa and would highly recommend this practice to everyone Thank you Sue Tucker
