Calusa Veterinary saved my dogs life! She ingested a very large amount of gum containing artificial sweetener ( xylitol )! This is very very toxic to dogs and is 100x more dangerous than chocolate. They had me come right in and started treatment early enough to give her a chance for her body to be able to handle the toxin. They knew what to do and have a 24/7 Emergency capability. 2 WEEKS AGO AROUND MIDNIGHT WE CALLED CALUSA BECAUSE A CAT HAD ATTACKED OUR DOXIES EYE , IT LOOKED HORRIBLE. WE LIVE IN DELRAY AND THEY REFERRED US TO THEIR PARTNER IN BOYNTON BEACH. WE IMMEDIATLEY WENT THERE. WE WERE TREATED WITH KINDNESS BUT MOST OF ALL, THEY REALLY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING! THEY MADE A SERUM FROM OUR DOGS BLOOD,GAVE ANTIBIOTIC EYE DROPS AND A SALVE. I don't know what I would do without the loving staff at Calusa. They have been with me through so much and always provided excellent care to my frenchie. I have been going here since my dog was a pup and over the past 4 years have nothing but great things to say! Dr. Turkell and his nurse Erin are beyond amazing. Highly reccomend this amazing hospital.
Dr. Krane and Dr. Sinclair and Dr.Kline are the best vets in the world . Dr Kline recommended some really good shampoo for my itchy skin . Dr. Sinclair got rid of the hot spot on my bum , and Dr. Krane also got rid of my itching . Oh , Dr.T..Uh .. Oh , he gave me my happy pills which got rid of my itching , all is good again , see you in the fall . Banjo
Even though I live in Miami, Calusa Veterinary is the only place I feel comfortable taking my little princess Mia. Dr Krawitzs is amazing! He is very understanding and genuinely cares about his patients! Mia is lucky to have him and the Calusa staff to care for her and keep her healthy :)
