We wanted to take a minute to thank you for your professionalism, demeanor and kindness during such a difficult time. The entire office showed such compassion as we made the hardest decision in our lives to put our beloved Shih Tzu Gizmo to rest. You all handled him and us with the utmost love and attention. I can only hope that every family that has to go through this has you to support them the way you did us. Your attentiveness and gentleness was not unnoticed. We felt at peace as our son slipped away surrounded by his pa... read more

We had to say a final goodbye to our “baby” Wesley Friday night after rushing the 17 yr old to Calusa ER. Wesley has been getting therapy at Calusa by Ellie who treated him like her own and he loved going there to help alleviate his pain and to get acupuncture, laser and doggie massage! Wesley was treated Friday night by a lady vet who was so compassionate to us and said she didn’t know us but knew of Wesley and that everyone at Calusa knew of Wesley, that he was he kind of a “celebrity” there! How good that made us feel,... read more

My puppy of 1o years suddenly stoppped eating and was urinating orange. I brought her to her wonderful vet at Banfield in Delray who immediately referred me to Calusa. They immediately realized she needed more care than they could provide. Upon arriving at Calusa we were immediately ushered into a room and Lady was taken to a back room to be evaluated. A nurse came in to get a full report on her symptoms, emailed Banfield for her records and assured us the Vet was seeing her immediately. When the vet came in I was a littl... read more

We lost one of our beloved cats suddenly this morning, and the staff at Calusa was more than accommodating. The on-site veterinarian calmly explained to us that our little guy didn’t make it. The second we rushed over, we were escorted into a private room to grieve, and the nurse gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. The front desk staff were more than empathetic, and i wanted to thank you all for the heart and professionalism that you all showed us today, as we deal with this loss. Thank you so much 💔

I would recommend this place to anyone with a pet emergency. My dog was poisoined by a Bufo Toad at 5 A.M. this morning. It immediately sent him into a seizure and swelled his whole face and throat shut. I took my baby there ASAP, & as soon as I walked in they rushed him right back and immediately gave him medical attention! Not like most places where you have to sit and wait in an emergency. Especially with this he could have died had it been any longer before we got there. Luckily they were able to effectively reverse the... read more
