I wish I would have never chosen this Clinic. The staff was very disrespectful to my wife and the Veterinarian was no help at all. Our dog had a very serious condition and we knew it would be very costly, and he treated us like we would not be able to afford it before even discussing alternative options. I don't understand how Dr. Hall can call himself a trusted professional when he doesn't take his patients best interests into consideration. All of the negative reviews on this page confirm that you should take your business... read more
Do not take your pet here. Dr Hall is more interested in making money than actually taking care of his patients. He is condescending, rude and uncaring. He would rather place blame on the patient and their family than take ownership of his work. His staff can make excuses for him all they want but, the bottom line is he is the worst vet ever. Please if you love your pets take them somewhere else.
I am in the Army, and we just arrived in the DC area. My dog Armani (7-year-old yorkie/4.3lbs) was in good health; however, she needed a cleaning, and a loose tooth pulled. My initial issue with this business began with misquoting fees. The staff member who reserved Armani's appointment and collected the in-take paperwork told me that if additional work was required, the price would not exceed $2,500. On 12 Sep 23, Armani had the initial procedure. Once she was on under sedation, the staff called me on the phone and told me ... read more
On April 4, 2021, my pug Ginger died after a procedure performed by Dr. Hall. I posted a review about his unprofessional, appalling treatment and what happened. His "kindly" staff responded to my review by blaming me for Ginger's death. Last week, the Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine found that Dr. Hall had committed multiple violations of the law and his duty of care to Ginger. He was reprimanded, fined, and ordered to undergo additional training. Even though this order is subject to appeal, I want Dr. Hall and his ... read more
My friendly cat suddenly didn't trust people anymore after having teeth removed here. Seems the Doc didn't use enough anesthesia. The doctor and staff were also very condescending to me, and aggressively tried to convince me it was my fault my cat was upset in the surgery when they said they used minimal anesthesia.
DON'T COME Do not come if you are on the autistic spectrum! the doctor is incredibly rude and talks down to you. He enters the room not saying hello but only to your dog and rolls around on the floor which at first made me a bit uncomfortable. I'm not saying he isn't qualified or uneducated but he is extremely rude. He made me cry and I told him he was making me feel very uncomfortable with the way he was treating me and talking to me. He got offended and wouldn't listen to why I was uncomfortable, he just kept saying how am... read more
This review is not so much about the dental care, but instead about Doctor Hall. His bed-side manner is abhorrent. He claims he speaks for your pet's needs, which makes you feel like a horrible pet parent, and then only gives an estimate once your pet is under anesthesia. We aren't coming back and have warned others.
I read the reviews and thought I would roll the dice - I needed a tooth pulled and a cleaning - and no other places would take new pets or they wouldn't do dental. At this place, Dr Hall knows how to talk to dogs, but NOT how to talk to people. He came in and without even looking at the dogs mouth started talking about all the CT scans and full cranial this and full maxillary that - but when you (the owner that has lived with your dog it's whole life and worked with certified Vets to take care of your dog - the person that... read more
Please seek a second opinion if you go here. Dr. Hall took a cursory look at our little guy and said (as others have noted) that he was suffering. He wanted to book us for a full mouth extraction. When I asked him questions about how he knew our guy was in pain, he opened our pets mouth, poked around and offered nothing tangible. Because our guy also has heart failure and we were concerned about anesthesia we asked. Dr. Hall was very dismissive, said derogatory things about other veterinarians warning us about anesthesia, ev... read more
