I brought my Boxer to Dr. Hall after being referred by my regular vet. My dog had pretty significant gingival hyperplasia (his gums growing over his teeth) such that when he was eating, he was essentially chewing with his gums. While he did not verbally voice his discomfort, he was not a regular eater and his gums bled most times he ate or chewed something hard. His teeth were healthy, he just couldn't use them!! Dr. Hall's bedside manner is great and my dog (who is typically very nervous around new people, esp. men and... read more
1/7/2011-We took our cat to the dental vet as referred by our vet for possible dental xrays as our cat was not eating and was pawing her mouth and making gestures with her tongue and mouth. The xrays and dental exam were essentailly pretty normal -a little bone loss but the dental vet removed four of her teeth. The procedure was approximately $1300 and our cat was put through what we now feel was an unnecessary procedure and it didn't help her problem. As of now, the motions our cat has been making with her mouth/tongue and... read more
took my dog here as he had bad mouth odor. my dog doesn't car ride well and unfortunately, threw up in the exam room. As my dog was throwing up, the vet grabbed his collar and lifted him by his collar up off the rug, apparently, because he didn't want vomit on his rug. (what idiot puts rugs in a pet exam room anyway???). I was not happy about this treatment of my poor dog. Image someone lifting you off the ground by your neck as you're throwing up... vet said many of my dog's teeth needed pulling. Wasn't sure how many,... read more
Our experience with the "Animal Dental Clinic" is the definitive WORST, out of a lifetime of interactions with veterinary, medical and other professionals , , , deeply painful and bitter. Referred by our vet (who had known the previous Dr. Williams), I brought in our 17 year old cat for a consultation -- with expressed concerns about her age and temperament. In the end, Dr. Hall ran some tests, evaluated her as fit for surgery and ended up removing all the teeth in her mouth. At day's end, I returned to pick her up, listen... read more
Upon recommendation from our vet, we took our cat here to get her teeth removed. Our cat has a mouth disease called stomatitis and the only real way to fix it is to have all of their teeth removed. Getting all teeth removed is a pretty involved procedure, so Animal Dental Clinic seemed like a good place to go since they do nothing but dental work on animals. The procedure went nearly perfectly, we were very happy with it! The doctor was very nice and helpful. He did an excellent job, our cat recovered very quickly and i... read more
