don't give this place any of your hard earned money. I am very sorry to hear about your experience Constance. but not surprised. I am so ptsd about this place myself but for lesser charges (being yelled at and told I am stupid for using the wrong sized insulin syringe). I am having to pay $500 to this practice for no treatment at all after being yelled at and treated like crap just so I can move on. I feel like a masochist paying this bill for that abuse.

I have tried to figure out how to word my review of the Village Vet for several days now. I am still grief stricken, as are the other members of my family, but my friends suggested that I needed to leave my review to spare other families of the same heartache that we are dealing with right now. I spent near 600 dollars in vet fees recently for shots etc. for my GSP. Went back because apparently my pet had a urinary infection . Or something worse. He's 12 years old, so they gave me meds and the Dr. said that she'd like to see him again after the meds run out. Ok for that but I thought that he may be bleeding again from ( you know where ). My family went to this vet for many many years. That all changed this year. I called to get an urgent appointment as my dog had a problem and he was in pain and was told that I could be seen in 2 days. When I pushed to have a sooner appointment since he was in pain I was given the following day. When I asked who that was with I was told the Dr Kim. Wow...so I had good reviews for Dr. Kim the last couple years I went but today she wasn't working so we saw Dr. Lonam...boy was that a mistake! If you do not agree with his views he will yell in the room and make you feel extremely uncomfortable. He will call you uninformed and argue with you back and forth. He apologized as he walked us out and then started again IN FRONT OF OTHER PPL WHO WERE WAITING IN THE WAITING ROOM. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Even though I liked Dr. Kim I will not be returning.

Run away...don't walk. Totally missed our dog's tongue melanoma. Of course, performed multiple surgeries for big bucks. We had to take our dog to the Hope Center (great place) to get the real news. Our dog died a terrible death because of lax check ups. Then the staff had the nerve to blame us. No follow-up; surly staff. The rest of the reviews are pure hog wash. Avoid like the plague.

Dr Lonam is very straight-forward, and knowledgeable, but not very owner-friendly. He took plenty of time with us, and did many tests, but we had to call the office for lab results, and it took all day - twice - for him to get back to us. Sadly, we had to put our cat down (actually 2 of them, on the same day), and not one person has called us to even see how we're doing... I'm sure they've been told by now that the cats died... While I appreciate that they are busy, I'm sure someone from the office could have called to find... read more

I don't even want to give a star, unless it is necessary to post my comment about this vet. The office staff is nice, but when I took my dog in to get surgery at 7:30 am, I was told she was the first one on the schedule. I waited anxiously at work for them to call me, as I was nervous about her coming out of the anesthesia. I called around 11am, and they said there was an emergency, but she was going in next. I called at 2pm, and they said they were just finishing up with a cat and she should be next. I got off work at 4pm, ... read more
