I called Dr. Van Sickle last August 2017 after another vet (closer to where I live near Arlington) told me my English Cocker Spaniel was in kidney failure with only a few days to live. Dr. Van Sickle reviewed the bloodwork results I emailed to her and saw my pet right away. She addressed the underlying problems of Cushings Disease and high blood pressure, and my pet began to improve. My 14yr old cat became sick with cancer. I brought him here in his final hours and they were so kind and respectful to me. I will be forever grateful. With such a loving staff I will be returning here with my other cat and any future pet.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this veterinary office. Everyone there is just amazing. So good at what they do, so good at explaining things, & all so very kind & compassionate. My neighbor has used them for decades & recommended them to me a few years ago & I am so glad she did. I have used half a dozen different, great vets in the last 23 years, but these are my favorites now & so are the only ones I will ever use from here on out. We have been using Village Vet for as long as I can remember. They are not only amazing with pets but with people also We had a kitty who became very ill and was diagnosed as terminal. They still did everything to make the kitty feel better (after they exhausted all research to save him) in his last days. But the above and beyond is unbelievable. Very satisfied with the doctors. The front desk staff are unfriendly and not helpful. The last time I went in, they were running hours behind and unapologetically told me to come back later. A phone call giving me a heads up would have been nice, and would have shown they care about their customers. Apparently not. Every time I go in I'm treated as if I'm disturbing their otherwise busy day.

Dr. Thibideau is THE BEST! My boy has a rare toenail disease and she was determined to find out what meds to treat him with. She was able to call a specialist in another state and correspond with the other doctor by taking pictures of my boy's nails. I am 100% satisfied with Dr. Thin idea and am very grateful for her services. 5 plus stars for this clinic!

This is my local vet's office for my three pooches. I've been bringing my dogs and a cat here for 10 years. The vets are knowledgeable and helpful. My dogs love them and the treats that they get. The office staff is friendly and empathetic. The vet's explain things to me in great detail and are patient and kind. They care and that means the world to me.

I have been taking my Samoyeds here since around 1998. I live in Old Town Alexandria and it's a little bit of a hike, but I wouldn't consider letting anyone else take care of my new rescue Sammy. Dr. Lonam is the best and so is all of his staff!
