1 star for Paula being the rudest person I ever spoken to in my life. Aside from the poor communication and dishonest pricing of my dogs exam, the way Paula handled the situation when I wanted to chat calmly about the charges on the phone was appalling and ultimately why I will be telling everyone I know not to go here. Condescending , rude and even laughed at me a few times. Also, shaming clients and making them feel they haven't done enough to help their pet isn't usually the best way to do business. (Apparently Catherine ... read more
One week ago today I had my 13-year-old dog euthanized. The experience was the worst, most horrible, heartbreaking, gut wrenching euthanization of my life. I've had many animals in 64 years but this experience haunts me at night. An injection was given to my dog in the neck she cried so pitifully. I cried horribly. I never wanted her to hurt or Cry Anymore in her life. The vet said it would take 10 minutes for her to fall asleep and then the lethal injection would be given. For 10 minutes I cried and sobbed with my little do... read more

Not a good place to bring an aging dog. Poor communication, rude front staff Multiple mix ups with meds and recommendations
Business response:
Thank you for your review and offering your perspective. Our side of the story is quite a bit different, but it is a moot point now. I regret that we were not a good fit for you and that you were not a good fit for us, which is why we terminated our relationship with you in February. I hope your pets are well and that your new vet is working out better for you.
I had heard this business was difficult to work with. However, I am originally from the area and was visiting for an extended period near-by. My dog came down with a bad UTI and was in need of an Rx for amoxicillin. As my dog frequently gets UTI's, my vet (out of state) offered to fax the Rx to a local vet. I called this business and was told they will only fill for clients. Really?! When I made the request I explained that my dog had blood in urine, and I was from out of town. ZERO compassion. None. So if I brought the do... read more
Business response:
Jayne, I'm sorry that your experience with us didn't go the way you hoped. The reason we could not fill your prescription is because NH state law prohibits veterinarians filling prescriptions from outside sources (i.e. another veterinary practice). It is only legal to fill medication that we prescribe within the veterinary practice. That is why we recommended that you have your veterinarian call the prescription into a human pharmacy. While we do try our best to help, certain circumstances can restrict this. If you'd lik... read more
Beware this vet is not there to help your animal it's money hungry intuition . None of the this what she is saying is true . Yes this is a business Yes they have to pay there employees. I asked to be billed . Never said I had no money. I asked your employee to bill me . She said sure there was never any thought of stealing services . Never in my mind . I also never asked for meds with out paying I offered to pay for them .you never gave me a cost before doing anything ever or asked me I only came there 2 times you make it... read more
Business response:
Mr. Buon-Conrad, I find this review highly amusing for someone who ran up a bill of over $600 (mostly in diagnostics that you requested and optional medications like flea and tick and joint supplements) and then you went to check out and told us you had no money, but would be back at the end of the week. If all we cared about was money then why did you come multiple times to our practice? If we were so in it for the money we could have had you charged for theft of services. Instead we were kind enough to let you leave w... read more
Brought our new puppy here for the first time. Found everyone very nice and caring, the facility was very clean and well organized. Dr. MacClean was very caring and loving to our dog, she spent some quality time examining her, and making her feel comfortable. Glad we found a good doctor for our new family member.
Business response:
Mike, it's such an honor for us that you trust us with your puppy. We're always going to take our time to make sure your pet is comfortable and safe. If you ever need our help again, don't hesitate to reach out. Best, Catherine MacLean, Owner
