I cannot thank Dr. Gillian enough. We have a 4 year old rescue Great Dane who is extremely leery of new people and new situations. She is very "people selective" and has never once been uncomfortable at this office. The staff are amazing and have never been intimidated of her, regardless of her size and demeanor. She needed to be spayed and have her tail amputated due to "happy tail". Dr. Gillian did everything she could to heal it before amputation, but it just didn't work. The absolute best place to bring you fur babies! I have a few vets closer to me, but I will travel the 35 minutes just to bring them here. The whole team is always top notch

Visiting from out of state & the only vet in a 50+ mile radius who would see our cat the day before a holiday, for what turns out to be a minor issue. This pet parent was worried and they were so welcoming & caring. When they didn't have any appointments they even called me to let me know of a same day cancellation. Very cat friendly, did everything to ease my cats anxiety! Excellent & caring staff all around, the front desk, techs, & veterinarian!! Highly recommend.

Sugar river animal hospital staff have excellent communication, superior skills and combined with a relaxed comfortable atmosphere there is no choice but success. Sugar River Animal Hospital reminded me of how experiences should be (Pleasant & Efficient) rather than being treated like a number. I just moved to NH and called several practices closer to home who were not taking on additional pets. I called Sugar River and they took me that day and gave my dog, Riley the attention and care he needed. The staff was excellent and provided IV hydration and antibiotics in the office. They placed Riley on a special diet and provided probiotics to help his GI tract. The entire experience was an A+. Thank-you for your terrific care and I am now a new loyal customer.
