I moved to Central Phoenix and changed veterinarians but now I am more than willing to drive across town to see the delightful Dr. Mike or his father Dr. Rick. The staff is wonderful too and it is top quality care at affordable prices.

Called 3 places to see if they'll remove ticks off an infested dog. (Not mine). Every place declined. Saguaro made a last minute appt and they have been pulling what seems to be a countless # (over 500) ticks. They've been pulling them off for over an hour. Their thoroughness and diligence is not being overlooked and neither is this poor pup! Thank you Dr Ketchmark and Amber for your hard work!

I love Saguaro Veterinary Clinic. I have been taking my dogs there since 1995 when I first moved to Arizona. They are fantastic to work with and all the doctors are wonderful especially Dr. Mike who has helped me through some very difficult moments and decisions. The office staff tries really hard to make you comfortable.

I'm going with 5 stars on this place because it is exactly what I want for vet care. If you're looking for a fabulous building well appointed and a luxury North Scottsdale experience, move on. There is no pet spa here. If you want reasonable, solid care for your pet, this is your place. They've always been on time for me. Dr John is a nice dude. No nonsense kinda guy. I just read a few very reviews, so I felt I need to add my $.02 10 years ago our Doberman breeder recommended Saguaro Vet Clinic because Dr. Rick Soltero was renowned throughout the Dobie Community as "The Best" with the breed. For our first visit we took "Keister" to have his ears cropped. Dr. Rick was one of the most personable and warm people we had met in years. I don't know why it took me so long to say how much I lov Dr John, Ya Ya, & his Brother Dr Mike & his sister Jody. Very qualified to giving your animals the best of care, all I can say they are Wonderful, Caring, very Detailed, Don't Overcharge, Personable, & their staff too. I'm so glad Ive been coming here now for quite a few years Thank U, Barbra & Ronnie Gradozzi

I've had my puppy for about 6 months now and was referred by a friend of my wife. We have had several visits over these past 6 months, mostly scheduled routine visits but also needed to recently have a tooth extracted. I was impressed that they took the initiative to clip her toe nails (without requesting or charging) when they had to give her anesthesia during the tooth extraction procedure. Love this veterinary clinic! Super friendly staff and know my dog by name. They don't try and upsell you on getting x rays for every scrape and if you have an issue you can call them and ask them if you should come in.
