I have been using Saguaro Veterinary Clinic for several years. I brought my pitbull mix in for a procedure recently. The staff was very courteous and a tremendous help. Dr. Mike Soltero showed true compassion by answering all of my questions and personally following up to ensure my dog was recovering fine and if I had any concerns. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism, quality of care, and willingness to exceed your expectations. These are the professionals that I would recommend to any animal lover.
I found Saguaro when our family moved from Chicago to Scottsdale with our then 9 year old Wheaten Terrier. Over the past 3 years our girl has had multiple growths and issues, but Dr John Soltero has always put me at ease and truly spent the time with both me and my dog to make sure my questions are answered. This is the animal doctor you want to go to if you would like to avoid Snottsdale attitudes & prices. Dr. John has great, kind communication with animals and owners. His staff is professional and responsive even in Covid times.
Dr. Mike is great, caring and has helped me with all of my animals needs over the years. Staff is always pleasant and concerned with my animals needs. They get me in quick and get me out pretty quick. I never feel taken advantage of money wise and just feel like I have a great veterinary clinic. I lucked out with this place and it is very close to my house but I would travel to the if I ever moved. Keep up the great work!
Had to get my little kitty and if she was having some teeth problems for some of the veteran Veterinary Clinic and will not be my last staff was absolutely phenomenal the girls in the front desk where hilarious they made you feel comfortable I honestly cannot give enough praise to this facility
They are great. They've done two ear crops for dogs in our family and their ears look beautiful. I'd switched vets simply due to them being 45 min from my house-I learned my lesson on that. I had the other vet tell me that my dog had a vertebrae in her neck out of alignment and got referred out to get a $1300 CT scan. Before doing the scan I came to Saguaro for a second opinion- he gave me some anti inflammatory meds and she was fine in a few days, just something strained. Saved me $1300 on a misdiagnosis. Great Clinic! I really miss Dr. Ketchmark but the other vets are very capable as well. Dr. Mike, and the others have always been so kind and caring. We have been going here with our animals for over 12 years, we have lost several along the way. The only thing I found a little annoying, last year we lost a one of our cats and dogs we need to have them euthanized, as you can imagine its a rough time. Wonderful clinic and staff! I am new to the area and not yet established with a local veterinarian. At the beginning of the weekend, my cat developed signs of a UTI and was becoming distressed. I called their clinic and they were able to fit my cat in the same day so she didn't have to suffer over the weekend. The entire staff (front desk, vet tech and veterinarian, Dr. Emerson) were all very friendly and caring, and handled my cat with great care. Saguaro Veterinary Clinic has been our vet for 32 years, starting with Dr. Soltero Sr. (who is now retired) and now with his his sons, Dr. Mike and Dr. Rick, and the wonderful Dr. Ketchmark. These men are knowledgable, kind and truly care about animals. I especially like that, when appropriate, Dr. K suggests natural treatments rather than an Rx.
