Had to get my little kitty and if she was having some teeth problems for some of the veteran Veterinary Clinic and will not be my last staff was absolutely phenomenal the girls in the front desk where hilarious they made you feel comfortable I honestly cannot give enough praise to this facility

They are great. They've done two ear crops for dogs in our family and their ears look beautiful. I'd switched vets simply due to them being 45 min from my house-I learned my lesson on that. I had the other vet tell me that my dog had a vertebrae in her neck out of alignment and got referred out to get a $1300 CT scan. Before doing the scan I came to Saguaro for a second opinion- he gave me some anti inflammatory meds and she was fine in a few days, just something strained. Saved me $1300 on a misdiagnosis. Great Clinic! I really miss Dr. Ketchmark but the other vets are very capable as well. Dr. Mike, and the others have always been so kind and caring. We have been going here with our animals for over 12 years, we have lost several along the way. The only thing I found a little annoying, last year we lost a one of our cats and dogs we need to have them euthanized, as you can imagine its a rough time. Well they came in to collect payment, I get that if you have a client that you dont know..maybe its their first visit, etc.... read more

Wonderful clinic and staff! I am new to the area and not yet established with a local veterinarian. At the beginning of the weekend, my cat developed signs of a UTI and was becoming distressed. I called their clinic and they were able to fit my cat in the same day so she didn't have to suffer over the weekend. The entire staff (front desk, vet tech and veterinarian, Dr. Emerson) were all very friendly and caring, and handled my cat with great care. Saguaro Veterinary Clinic has been our vet for 32 years, starting with Dr. Soltero Sr. (who is now retired) and now with his his sons, Dr. Mike and Dr. Rick, and the wonderful Dr. Ketchmark. These men are knowledgable, kind and truly care about animals. I especially like that, when appropriate, Dr. K suggests natural treatments rather than an Rx. I have yet to meet a Vet on this planet that cares about animals as much Soltero Sr. (who is retired) and Dr. Ketchmark. Dr. K has become the only Vet I trust and will take any of my animals to even when I lived outside of the Valley and had to travel 7.5 hours. He is irreplaceable. I'm sure there are other good ones but I have yet to see one who genuinely cares about an animals health first, has no fear, is honest, and can make the most fearful animal comfortable. They are amazing. Really nice people and will always be a place I will drive out of my way to see. I live an hour or so away and I will drive that every time for my Doberman because they truly will take care of her ^_^

Dr Soltero did both my giant Schnauzers ears. One of them is already standing upright after two weeks! He's very good at ear cropping this is my third dog getting cropped at his place! Great caring staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else for cropping.

I moved here from Ohio and did not have a primary veterinarian set up. My cat was having eye issues so I called Saguaro because it was very close to my apartment. I called right when they opened and they were able to squeeze me in a few hours later. I only had to wait a few minutes in the lobby after my scheduled appointment time. The vet was very friendly and actually seemed to care about the issue my cat was having. My bill was very reasonable. I have found my veterinarian in Scottsdale.
