City By The Sea saw my cat on an emergency basis. Unfortunately I had to make the decision to put my companion Mario to sleep. They could not have been more professional, thorough and compassionate throughout an extremely difficult day. Prices for the emergency visit and the euthanization were reasonable and fair.

Kind, caring staff.everything was explained thoroughly. Prices are reasonable. I feel very comfortable having my cats being taken care of here.

Dr Tom and his staff are wonderful. I saw the reviews and started going to City by the Sea Dr Tom spend so much time with Max and then spoke to me by phone. He was wonderful! I highly recommend City by the Sea! You will not be sorry....

The most phenomenal vet experience! I've been coming here for close to 2 years now. I've had 2 of my cats since they were small (both over 10 now) and they have had consistent care here. I rescued a cat from my job 1.5 years ago and they immediately helped make Chase part of our family after testing to ensure it was safe. The doctors and staff have always been professional, kind, and compassionate. We recently moved from South Jersey and after months of still driving down to our old vet, we decided to try here. They had great reviews and were right in town. I have to say, I am so glad I Switched. In fact, they are better then our original vet. We moved to Asbury Park in March having lived the past 11 years in Princeton where our 14 year old poodle had a wonderful vet so finding a new one was not easy. Our dog recently need a large lump removed as it was growing very close to his anus and causing discomfort. Dr. Tom laid out the options and took great care in letting us know every step of the way. The staff are all very kind and helpful

This place is THE BEST! I honestly can't say enough good things about them. I decided to check them out after reading the positive reviews here on Yelp. My English Bulldog has been suffering from his allergies for the last 6+ months and nothing we've done for him so far has helped. We finally decided to take him to a new vet for a second opinion. My chonky cat Molly had her first visit with Dr. Kasten this past weekend. Despite Molly being a "spitfire" (she yelled and hissed through the whole visit), the doctor and her staff were exceedingly loving, patient, and compassionate. We now have Molly on a weight management program, and I'm so grateful to the entire City By the Sea clinic for taking care of us. Thank you for being such great neighbors, and for all you do!

I have an 8 week old lab puppy and Dr. Kasten and her team were amazing with my pup. They were patient and answered all of my questions. My dog didn't want to leave! She loved the staff and the treats she got!
