It was another first class veterinary visit for my little cat, Kitten!! I love calling the office because the reception staff is so friendly and courteous. We had a "vet tech" visit for Kitten to have a manicure and pedicure. She loves going to City By The Sea! (So do ! )
I started going to city by the sea a few years ago when I finally realized I had to give up my vet up in north jersey because of the distance. Everyone I have seen here has been wonderful, from the vet technicians, reception, to the vets they all are so caring and thorough with my senior dog wynter. I usually request Dr Kasten as she is fantastic. Extremely thorough, attentive and so nice to my dog wynter. I'm glad I have a quality local vet to get care with for my dog. Outstanding service for a dog I was fostering (and have now adopted). Dr Coughlin is an excellent vet and the support staff were equally efficient and friendly. They gave a fast but thorough investigation followed by a clear diagnosis. Minimal waiting, excellent bedside manner, gentle with a patient feeling very ill, straightforward explanation of costs before any procedures were done, dedicated and timely follow up. Always greeted by the receptionist staff. From the technicians to the DR's we are treated respectfully. The entire staff goes out of their way for the health and safety of our pets. Highly recommend
Dr. Tom and staff are the most amazing people I have ever met at a vet clinic. I had only come across them because my regular vet was closed during Covid, and I had a small emergency for my dog. We never looked back!! I have since added a cat to our clan! I really can't say enough positive statements about how they treat me and my pets (Tucker/dog is now 15 and Amelia/cat is 3) throughout every stage of life. Thank you for your honesty, your due diligence and bedside manner. So thankful.

Wonderful staff! I help a neighbor take care of a pair of feral-born kitties who have adopted us, and we bring them here for their check-ups and immunizations. The staff are all wonderful with these cats (who are very shy around new people).
