Charlie saw Dr. Young and I left feeling uneasy. Charlie was diagnosed with a " bad heart murmur" and "potential congestive heart failure" during his annual checkup. I've been taking Charlie to see Dr. Carson since I adopted him years ago and neither Doc nor Dr. Jim has ever mentioned hearing a murmur. I can't afford to bring Charlie back for a second opinion so I'm stuck worrying until our next yearly appointment. I'll be sure to specify that I want to see one of the Carsons in the future.
It might've been a little bit easier for us if we gotten some pain medication for our little dog Annabelle. She had a pretty difficult night called for medication following day. And was immediately accommodated. Dog is just fine now.. (Teeth cleaning)
Whoever is answering the phone needs more training.

I love Carson. I’ve briught all of my animals there. I was a bit upset this week that I was charge $55 for an examine with the only thing that was done was looking in my dog’s ears. No other exam was done. It had already been determined that she had an infection. $170 to tell me she had an infection(which i knew) and meds. It doesn’t cost that to treat a child...and if they do go to a pediatrician, they get a full exam.
Saw Dr. Frady as a walk in when our dog was ill Saturday. She and the staff from the front desk to the technicians were very helpful and compassionate. Dr. Frady was very thorough with her exam and testing that was required. Friendly and compassionate. Would definitely recommend.

The timing of this feedback request could not have come at a worse time. I have waited a few days to get my emotions under control prior to responding. Last Wednesday I brought my dog in for a routine heartworm shot. Dr. Venable saw my dog and during the exam thought she felt tumors. She recommended surgery after we had xray and ultrasound. I requested Dr. Carson review and he recommended sedated ultrasound. There were no tumors. What they found Dr. Venable would not have felt during the exam. Sugar was put under yesterday to clean her teeth and it was a very expensive visit and I understand there is is a lot going on with this and I’m ok with it but when she got back yesterday she was scratching at her ear and when we looked it was really nasty and I feel that could have been checked. Other wise I feel like y’all do a great job of taking care of her and do appreciate y’all.
