We're Here Whenever You Need Us! At Advanced Animal Care we strive to be a place that doesn’t turn anyone away and that our staff look forward to coming to work. We opened in December of 2008 as the area's first 24 hour animal hospital. AAC is family owned and we plan to stay that way. We have a lot of the benefits that a corporate practice would have and yet maintain the feel of a local organization.

I found a kitten and called to see if I could bring it in. they said only if I paid.... I said I didn't have money and that I didn't know what to do. it's just a little stray, but I can't let it die. they said they couldn't help. My daughter took her dog To them on a Sunday because of another dog attacked it . This was just 8 months old. The puppy was in horrible condition and wasn’t expected to live She was charged 4000.00 up front and they keep it 3 days . The dog did not improve at all .. none .. She picked him up and brought him to Minter & Moore in Beattyville, Ky Within 24 hours he has improved considerably and has even ate some and walking .. Please DO NOT waste your money here !!!!! We had a bizarre experience. The following is our true experience at Advanced Animal Clinic in Richmond, KY. It is owned by Jim and/or John Martin. The people we encountered are: Bridgett Maynard, a vet technician; Dr. Cynthia Clark Boynton, the veterinarian who examined Lewis; Jamie House, the office manager; and Dr. Allison Conner, a veterinarian who consulted on the case. i was told on the phone it would cost me $226 to have a dog neutered tht showed up at my house a couple weeks ago, come to find out that apparently only covers the cost of the vet doing the procedure and about nothing else. After tax total cost was $305 dollars and there was no complications on a 70lb dog. Not to mention i got double charged on an ear cleaning. You diagnosed my dog incorrectly and you would not return my phone calls for 2 days. I called to speak to a doctor 4 times on Sunday and 2 times on Monday and THIS MORNING SHE DIED!!!!! I kept being told that the Doctors were too busy to talk to me and they would call me back. The employees answering the phone are poorly trained, no compassion.
