My one-eyed Chihuhua is going to lose a tooth. I adopted Odin about 8 months ago from the Humane Society. He was a stray who'd come in with gnarly teeth and a bad eye. He lost the eye to glaucoma, lenticular sclerosis and lens luxation, so the vets at the SDHS surgically removed it. I took him home the day he got his stitches out and madly searched on Yelp for a trustworthy vet for the three subsequent days. I decided to change vets (previously at Animal Hospital of La Jolla). After reading yelp reviews, I I decided to try Windansea and I am so glad I did. Dr. Dorian is caring, understanding, capable, and straighforward - a fresh change from my previous vet where I felt they pushed unnecessary meds and services. The reception staff is courteous. While I only jsut recently starting bringing my 10 yr old Doberman here, I am very happy with this clinic.

Very trustworthy staff!! I know I can bring my kitties here and get cost efficient but VERY high quality care. Dr. Lindsey and Dr. Dorian are both amazing and VERY good at what they do. They even make follow up calls to make sure your pet is feeling better since their visit. I never worry that they are suggesting procedures, shots, exams, or other services that are unneccessary just to take advantage of me. GO HERE!!

Dr. Dorian and Dr. Lindsey are the best. They are so nice and they don't charge extra for things you don't need. Very trustworthy. We have been bringing our 2 beagles and our cat here for years. Dr. Dorian also has another Vet location downtown called Market Street Vetrinary Clinic and its great there too. He has a good review rating on yelp for that location as well. We have recommended windansea to friends and they all love this place.

I have known Dr Lindsey for more than 30 years. He is a lovely human who is an excellent doctor and still loves his work! When he said he was getting a Veterinary Partner I was hesitant but Dr Dorian is really wonderful. Seldom do you find such care as these two Doctors give to their smallest patients. I drive half an hour to still go there!

If it were possible to clone Dr. Lindsey and Dr. Dorian at Windansea Vet, I would pay to have it done and distribute their dopplegangers to every Veterinary Clinic in the United States, heck, in the World! I have taken rescue pets as well as expensive & rare breeds to Windansea and all were treated with incredible empathy and professionalism. My boyfriend and i had gone to quite a few vets before finding windansea, and thank god we did. The vets really cared about the wellbeing of our dog, they didnt just try to perscribe drugs. It really makes a difference when you find a clinic and vets you can trust.
