Kathy is so amazing. Every time I call she will spend as much time as I need answering my questions and calming me down. She is always in a good mood and makes me feel extremely comfortable.

Very impressed with one of the Vets Dr Dina Raichel as she is thorough, wise, quick thinking and open with decision making with the dog's family. One can see why the Yelp reviews are so high for this animal hospital. They clearly love dogs and cats.

This place is great. I called the morning of and my dog Rosie was able to be seen same day. They answered the phone quickly and professionally. We were seen right on time. The vet nurse was very informative and answered all my questions. Dr. Raichel was very polite and extremely helpful. My dog was thoroughly examined and treated very well. A few days prior I adopted her from a shelter so she had some matts that looked awful--they trimmed those off at no charge! It was an easy checkout process and they set up reminde... read more

I have been going here a bit now....I really like Dr. Raichel more and more each visit. She is pretty pragmatic about treatments and gets where to reduce costs when necessary. Overall they are great

I'm so glad I found this vet in San Diego! I take both my dogs here. Staff is very friendly and the vet is wonderful! My husband and I really feel like they take the time with each animal. They ask all of the right questions and they DONT badger you for "extra testing". (Extra $$ like most vets!) I'm always very shocked to see my bill here. In a good way! My bubbies and I thank you for treating us like family and keeping them happy and healthy! :)

I had a really good experience with this vet clinic. I took my dog in without an appointment because she was not feeling well and got a great service and care for my dog. Dr. Dina Raichel is an amazing vet. She was so gentle with my pooch, the way an owner would be with their own dog. My dog instantly liked the place and was not afraid to go there. Very friendly staff and great doc. The prices are reasonable, not cheap but not sky high. I will go there again.

When you move to a new area you really have to roll the dice when it comes to vets, and I was very lucky to find such a quality clinic on my first try. I came in for my dog's yearly exam, 3 vaccinations, and an examination of an infected paw. Dr. Spengel was personable, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions. Everyone there was super friendly. After they did some work on my dog's paw and prescribed meds in addition to the exam and shots I was ready for a huge bill...but it ended up being around $260. Love the staff at Windansea. Very cute waiting area, and the staff really seem to love their work. I have always received the very best care and they all seem to love all three of my pups. When there has been a serious health issue it feels like a very good friend is advising me and caring about not only my pups but me. Fiona, Lapsi, Kimi and myself would give more stars if we could! Windansea is amazing. Our cat was diagnosed with a UTI at Banfield, but her symptoms seemed a little bit off so we went to Windansea for a second opinion. Immediately they noticed a strange lump in her colon and set up an appointment for us out of house to get it checked out ($700 wasted at Banfield didn't tell us that). Dr. Raichel was incredibly personable and human - it was clear that she has a deep love for animals and is not a money-munching monster like Banfield is.
