I am a foster mom for Shelter Friends. Today I took my foster kitty in to get spayed because this vet performs these for the shelter. I was very impressed with the staff and the care at this vet. They got the surgery done early in the day and contacted me with an update as soon as they were done to let me know she was doing well. The instructions given when I picked her up were reviewed thoroughly and I was given a written page with all instructions also. Awesome vet! We have taken our dog to lots of vets but Valley is by far outstanding. A bit expensive but for the care they give your pet it is worth it. I highly reccomend Valley Animal Hospital!!!

Valley Animal Hospital has been my vet for many years. I'm continually impressed with their thorough care of my dogs. Dr Bohman provides excellent surgical services.

We met Dr Bowman in 2005, by sheer luck of the phone book draw. We had just moved here from out of state and had a dog with a terminal dz. We had taken Riggs to another vet a month earlier who had given us the diagnosis...we werent impressed AT ALL by vet #1, who has a well known rep in town. This is to offset Katie A's one star. It's not VAH's fault that she is clueless. 5 years, 2 dogs, nothing but fantastic personable service. I highly recommend VAH and their caring, attentive staff! Truly as good as it gets!

My thoughts on the 5/26/26 male doctor remark is that comment was insensitive and possibly sexist! At my last appointment there was no pushy, people present.

I took my pet in for a wellness exam with a male doctor who kept pushing vaccines, even though my pet was up to date, and I felt she didn't need them since she's strictly indoors. He made rude comments about her being a bit overweight and was oddly surprised at how clean she looked. He suggested a minor procedure but wanted to take her to the back to do it. My dogs have health insurance, but it's only as good as the vet responding with records to the insurance company. My insurance called and faxed them several times and I ended up leaving several voicemails for them. I asked for a refill and they never responded. I will never go back to this horribly unsympathetic vet. I only give one star because you have to, otherwise I'd give them a zero. Find someone else for your fur babies.
