Was my cat's vet for two years, before I moved out of the area. Always got good quality care for affordable prices.
I am a foster mom for Shelter Friends. Today I took my foster kitty in to get spayed because this vet performs these for the shelter. I was very impressed with the staff and the care at this vet. They got the surgery done early in the day and contacted me with an update as soon as they were done to let me know she was doing well. The instructions given when I picked her up were reviewed thoroughly and I was given a written page with all instructions also. Awesome vet! We have taken our dog to lots of vets but Valley is by far outstanding. A bit expensive but for the care they give your pet it is worth it. I highly reccomend Valley Animal Hospital!!!
Valley Animal Hospital has been my vet for many years. I'm continually impressed with their thorough care of my dogs. Dr Bohman provides excellent surgical services.
We met Dr Bowman in 2005, by sheer luck of the phone book draw. We had just moved here from out of state and had a dog with a terminal dz. We had taken Riggs to another vet a month earlier who had given us the diagnosis...we werent impressed AT ALL by vet #1, who has a well known rep in town. This is to offset Katie A's one star. It's not VAH's fault that she is clueless. 5 years, 2 dogs, nothing but fantastic personable service. I highly recommend VAH and their caring, attentive staff! Truly as good as it gets!
My dogs have health insurance, but it's only as good as the vet responding with records to the insurance company. My insurance called and faxed them several times and I ended up leaving several voicemails for them. I asked for a refill and they never responded. I will never go back to this horribly unsympathetic vet. I only give one star because you have to, otherwise I'd give them a zero. Find someone else for your fur babies.
extremely overrated and over priced, we just took our 2 dogs for a booster shot and got charged for a tech check,( both dogs were seen and vet checked 21 days ago), we were told on our way out that all is square no further charges, then the phone rang ,and we were told we owe $140. for the Tech check, (we're done, )PS the vet during our initial check up 21 days ago told us to save up our money in case our small dog ever needed her teeth cleaned , in which her teeth are immaculate , absolutely no bedside manners or class.
Well, I thought this would be a good place to take my pets, but after a few visirts learned that it is all abour the $$. They will sell you overpriced products, which is fine. My bad. But what fionally drove me away from this vet can only be called incompetence. I called for a refill of a prescription for my dog who suffers from staph infections.
