In the past I have had great experiences at Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic. I have taken 3 cats there over the past 5 years, and recommended to friends. A few years ago I even had to say goodbye to a pet at Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic and the compassionate staff truly eased the process. My most recent visit to Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic was not very positive. My dog came in with a bleeding paw. We waited in line while one person was on the phone and another selling a bag of dog food. That person buying the food suggested she attend to my bleeding dog, but was waived the idea off. We were placed in a room for an hour, when a very kind tech, Allison came in took my dogs vitals...
Just another veterinary hospital that's over-priced and does things based on protocol and driving the price as high as possible for profit. I was very disappointed with my last visit. Too many things to list but after a consultation with a top veterinarian I learned that many things were done inappropriately. Additionally, twice when I've tried to call I've been put on hold for up to 15 minutes.
I waited 1 1-2 hours for someone to see my pet . I watched many people come and go with their pet being seen . I asked how much longer do I have to wait ? Answer forever ! Oh sorry were having a problem today . You could have told me that an hour ago . Maybe I could have taken my pet elsewhere . And yes I’m not happy about it !

I was disappointed that I arrived to the emergency vet only to be advised i would be seen in about an hour and half. I waited because I was worried about my dog.
