My dog had a swollen face this morning, probably from a spider bite and I was scared she might go into anaphylactic shock so I tried to get her in the animal ER but arboretum view was closed and lisle ER had a 4 hour wait so I found LVH and called them. They told me to come right over and would be able to see my dog right away and I’m not even a client of theirs. As soon as I arrived, they met me at curbside and got my dog in right away. We thought our cat had swallowed a bobby pin. Being a Sunday afternoon, our normal vet was closed so my wife rushed to find an emergency vet close to home and we came across Lombard Veterinary Hospital. We brought our cat in and there was someone to meet us in the parking lot immediately and they took our kitty in. A few minutes later, Dr. Sliwa called us to explain what they were going to do. Dr. Britton was absolutely wonderful with my Frankie. The vet techs as well as front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to us. We have found our new veterinarian ❤ definitely recommend them. They got us in quickly as an emergency and i am extremely grateful to the staff and Dr. Britton. My German Shepherd Frankie is too ❤🐾❤🐾

They've always taken great care of all of our furbabies. Their caring and compassionate doctors and staff made the process of putting our beloved Balrog down somewhat easier.
This veterinary hospital is filled with the kindness and most thoughtful staff. We recently had to put our beloved Lucy down. They sent me a card, a poem with her paw prints and made a donation to the university of Illinois veterinary medicine memorial fund in her name. I cannot express my gratitude enough for their compassion for our loss. Lucy was a special dog, she had a good life and a respectful and caring end of life. We cannot thank you enough for all you’ve done for us and our Lucy! ❤️
