RecommendedGreat staff. Dr Ohms was great with our dog before and after surgery.
I have been going to Dr.Ohms for years now and so happy he opened his own clinic! He’s great with the animals, is very professional, and is great when he talks with the owners and makes sure we understand what’s going on with our animals. He also is very reasonable and won’t push for unnecessary testing or procedures... it is always what is best for the Animail.
I highly recommend Dr. Ohms. He is very fair and so caring!! His wife Amanda does a great job with grooming also.
Glad I FINALLY made the switch to Heartland! Dr Ohms and staff are phenomenal (sweet people, compassionate and passionate about what they are doing-- reminded me of my vet clinic back home) and grateful they were able to heal my lil Fred. Dr ohms Took the time to go over what was going on and how to treat as well as possibilities of what might happen. it also felt like they were listening when i asked questions. they also didnt "break the bank" (truly grateful for that lol) when all was said and done.
Took our dog to Heartland thinking she had a broken leg and instead found out she had cancer. Dr Ohms took such time and care with us explaining all of our options (in terms we could understand) and dealt with our apprehensions with patience and sensitivity as we mulled through those options and made the decision to amputate. Cali's stitches came out yesterday and now we now have a happy tri-paw who is doing very well! Dana was able to get us in quickly due to our dog having a very uncomfortable hot spot on his neck. The staff was very friendly & helpful, & Dr. Ohms took the time to evaluate our dog & explain all of our options for his care. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a veterinarian in the local area!
Five stars is not enough to give Dr. Ohms and his staff! We have been long time visitors of his wife Amanda for her great grooming experiences and talents. ♥️ ♥️ ✂️ 🛀. So pleased with our experience yesterday ! Our Senior dog Rocky had a major itchy skin infection that we’ve been treating for ages . After his check up , injection & the right dose of medication from Dr. Ohms , I can truly say Rocky is 100% better and sleeping so good now . Everyone at Heartland is top notch and the price point is great with no unnecessary costly testing or procedures . This place is a gem !
