RecommendedHighly recommend heartland vet! My husband and I recently moved to the area with our two dogs. We hadn’t had a chance to get our dogs established at a new vet yet, and one of them started acting funny today. I called the vet closest to our new home to see about getting my dog in to see a vet. Unfortunately they were booked for the next 2 days. They gave me the name of Dr Ohms to see if he could get me in sooner. RecommendedI took my dog in to Heartland less than 16 hours after leaving Hawthorne animal hospital for an emergency visit. I had never been to Heartland before, but was referred by my vet who could not get me in that day. Unlike Hawthorne, Dr Ohms took the time to actually listen to what I was saying and go the extra mile to check everything on my dog when Hawthorne did not. RecommendedHad an elderly cat with a suspected UTI and could have been really bad because going out of town. They got her right in and took care of her. Dr. Ohms was very nice and made me feel at ease. The front desk lady and the assistant were so nice. I’d definitely recommend going here. Shout out to Bethalto Animal Clinic for referral.
