Disappointing. It's so important that being fur baby parents that you take your pet somewhere where they not only are being treated kindly but you are aren't getting ripped off or your kindness for weakness because they know how much you care about your pet. They charge you off of who you are and are money hungry. One person hung up the phone mid conversation. Rude

Disgusting customer service. Total rip off . Beware. People who talk mean to their customers is not somewhere you want to bring your pet.

It's a clinic based on a veterinary business; not an intimate veterinarian setting. Don't expect a lot of face time with these vets. Skilled vets on staff. But the experience with them has changed since our first experience with them 7 years ago. Again less direct Face Time with vets yet more cost associated with visits. Prices have increased dramatically recently. Probably due to new additions and business cost. They require an appointment on their terms for everything. Vets work by voicemail and return calls on their s... read more

Business response:

Hi Jon, we appreciate you letting us care for your pets for the past 7 year. I would love to talk to you to get a better understanding of how we can make you feel more of an intimate experience here. We do have scheduling guidelines that we have to work by in order to keep the clinic running as smoothly as possible. Our vets are in appointments all day so they do normally have specific times (their lunch break and after hours) to return calls to clients however, we offer scheudled phone consultations free of charge to our cl... read more

I have tried to order flea and tick medicine for my dog and they cancelled my orders as I had not brought my dog in for a well check up. Im sorry it's a pandemic and we are not going to vets, doctors or other places. So I switched Vet's. Obviously they only care about making money for the well check up. Sad :(

Worst place to take your pet. They lack compassion. Only worried about nickel and diming you. I would not give them a single star if that were an option. Terrible place.

I have horses, cats, birds and dogs. In all my many veterinary experiences, Dr Martinez is the #1 best. His competence in his profession and caring attitude are beyond reproach. The vet assistants are also spot on and wonderful to associate with. I love the groomer. All these people are 5 star plus plus plus. Ashley, the office manager, is rude, arrogant, condescending, irritating, talks in a degrading manner and someone that makes me cringe. The Cumming Veterinary office has called to confirm appointments for my deceased do... read more

We have used CVC for 12 years and had 4 dogs as patients there. Dr. FitzSimons is the best bet we've ever had, and Dr. Martinez is also excellent. With one exception, all of the staff are cheerful, caring, professional and efficient. The one exception is Ashley Forrester, the practice manager, who is arrogant, rude, and will mishandle your dog if you do not watch her. Avoid Ms. Forrester, and you will have a great experience.

Extracted 5 teeth from my dog when they only had permission to extract 1. They called after the X-rays and examination to say 4 more teeth had deep pockets and need extraction. They said because he was 11 yrs old he should also have renal testing. I said DO NOTHING MORE to my dog, just clean his teeth which he was brought in for. The Dr. Then tried to sell me on some gel to be put in the spaces. I again said do NOTHING More. WHEN MY HUSBAND went to pick him up, they had extracted 5 teeth. They charged $748.00. Money mu... read more

I never ever do reviews but please take a moment to read this- could be the life of your pet at stake.. Do not take your animals to this vet. I had to take my Great Pyr there as my regular vet (Pet Vet - which is wonderful but didn't have the equipment for emergencies). They immediately were asking for $500 and wouldn't start treatment until that was verified and then they pretty much kicked us out at 6-- she died within 15 minutes of being off the oxygen. The after hours vet I was taking her to also did a sonogram (for free... read more
