I recently moved to Columbia and needed a vet. After a not-so-good experience with another vet in Columbia, I found Columbia Hospital for Animals. I was impressed with the Vet who saw my cat and liked that he explained everything. I since had a need to visit again due a health issue with my cat and met a different Vet. I have gone to many different vets due to moving around a bit and I have never had a better experience than here. The whole staff is wonderful. Unfortunately, they were only my vet for the very end of my sweet dog’s journey but I am so grateful to them for assisting me with end of life diagnosis and care. If I get another dog in the future I would bring them here in a heartbeat. All of these folks really care. Also the pricing is very good/fair!

We have been going to this office for years, Dr Vaughn has helped care for some of my previous family dogs and Dr P is who our current dogs and exotics see. Both of these gentlemen are hands down the best vets we've ever gotten to interact with. They take their time with you and really listen to any concerns you have, the attitudes are always professional and kind with a whole lot of compassion. We were in the area for vacation and our "baby" got an ear infection. Dr. Pelleggi was personal and amazing with our Silver Lab, Riley. We think fellow dog owners would be super happy to have all the staff at Columbia Hospital for Animals taking care of their baby!!!

We took our 13-year-old Daschund in for a dental procedure and had a great experience. The doctor was extremely thorough in his explanation of treatment leading up to the event and was very caring following. The office even called to check on our sweet boy a few days after the surgery. We will be back.
