Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

Good feeling having my pet being cared for by all at the clinic
Dr. Venable and the vet tech were very gentle and patient with my Cat, Jaxon. He can be a bit temperamental and frightened during exams. They took the time to make sure he was comfortable before doing his exam. This makes all the difference. As a pet-parent, I truly appreciate this kind of care and service. This is why I continue to bring my pets to this veterinary clinic. Thank you for this!

Everyone was great from door to doctor. Timely visits. We are very appreciative of them being open Christmas Eve so we could do our yearly visit while visiting home so we can keep Dr. Jim as our vet despite temporarily residing in another state.
