Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

I can speak from experience when I say the Quality of care I’ve gotten for not only my animals but family and friends I’ve referred to Dr Jim Carson and Dr Jim Carson Sr., that their service and expertise have been 100% stellar as well as their whole team!!! From the front to the back - they are all amazing and you couldn’t ask for better !!!!

I really appreciated how sweet and easy going all of the assistants and the doctor was. I just moved here and this was my first veterinarian to visit and I felt completely at home. I thought it was super cool to look at the ear mites under the microscope as well.

Awesome experience as always. Called at 8 am...appointment by 11. Very professional and loving staff. My cat was very comfortable throughout. He came in for losing a patch of fur. Couldn’t find a reason for it but didn’t send me away with a bunch of “just in case “ creams and ointments. They are great with all of my cats.
