Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

I feel that there is a profit component that is somewhat disturbing which wasn't there in the past. However, Dr. Carson is my vet and has been for over 30 years and I will always consider Dr. Carson and Carson Veterinary my vet. I would prefer not to get emails telling me about "specials" constantly. I take good care of my dogs but do not need to be apprised of specials for items I don't need. I trust Dr. Carson to tell me whatever I need to address in the care of my dogs. Please take me off your email list for "specials". I... read more
Entire experience was fabulous from beginning to end. Everyone was super friendly and explained the process for my dog’s procedure with knowledge and compassion. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in their care. The procedure was uneventful and she is healing beautifully. Thank u to the entire staff for such great care of my fur baby!
