Carson Veterinary Clinic was originally established in 1982 by Dr. Jim Carson III and has proudly been serving the Acadiana area ever since. The founding principles were and still are honesty, integrity, trust and perhaps the biggest of all, customer service. We perform a wide range of advanced diagnostics and surgery as well as annual examinations, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention as well as boarding. We take pride in our work and are always willing to go above and beyond for you and your pets!

Staff was courteous and kind throughout Lily’s appointment. We were seen promptly, which is very nice with an anxious dog.
I have had experiences with other veterinary offices where my dog has told me through her body language that her visit was not a good one. She seems happy when I pick her up and that tells me she was well taken care of. Will go back to Carson Vet for future services !

Always an enjoyable experience at Carson, even for my dog Heidi! We love the staff and the special care and attention they give and have given all our pets throughout the years. It's great to be around pet loving people when you are one that treats her dog as her daughter, and the staff gets it. Dr. Jim is awesome! From the front desk, to the docs, to all the crew in the back, Carson Vet has been a part of our family for years. We wouldn't go anywhere else!
