STAY AWAY FROM CALUSA! Calusa has a nice building but once you walk through their doors it like walking into hell. The staff are rude, unprofessional and care more about going on their phones then helping people and their pets. Also never board you’re animal at Calusa. I have had my cats stay there multiple times are every time there was a problem. To name a few, they didn’t give my cats the right amount of litter boxes, didn’t give my cats the right food and their water bowls were empty. I love my animals and to see th... read more

Stay away at all costs!! They will tell you one thing and do another. There is a substantial lack of coordination among the staff. They also gave my dog an incorrect dosage of medication, charged me for 30mg, but gave me a box of 5mg. When I called to complain they doubted that I could read 5mg and then hung up on me. Their sticker says 30mg, but the box says 5mg as printed by the manufacturer, and someone wrote 5mg on the side of the box in Sharpie. Critical mistake as my dog was in for seizures. They care for dogs, but don... read more

Showed up last night with an emergency not one person was there to answer the door or was at the front desk. I was let in by another customer who was having issues with her dog. After 30 minutes I left my dog would have died as I went somewhere else and got help for my dog. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have to be honest we went there thinking they were the best emergency animal hospital, they completely misdiagnosed our dog and almost put her sleep, I would Never recommend them be smart go to a different emergency center they are dangerous and make major mistakes.

I think is totally unacceptable to extract 13 teeth from a dog because it's the last cleaning because of age, not the first time it happened, be careful if your dog goes for tooth cleaning and is the last one they eill try to push for a lot of extraction, this place has that reputation no-one stand until now to confront them... we will fight it.... and they remove it without authorization....
