This is the worst place to take your pet. All anyone should have to say is customer service, it is the worst!!

This place deserves a zero rating. They told me on the phone that I could bring my pet in for a heartworm test and flea prevention medicine. I informed that I could not afford an exam as I go to two different veterinarian clinics. I was on hold for 10 minutes while they confirmed with the doctor that this was possible. So I proceeded in for a visit with my pet. They took her back they did the heartworm test and then came out and told me they could not prescribe the heartworm / flea medicine without doing an exam with the doc... read more

I wanted to thank you for refusing to refill my dog's flea medication due to the fact that I can not afford to bring him in for an exam at the moment.  I am a single woman who had her hours cut during covid and was not granted unemployment.  I am still trying to dig out the financial hole that put me in. I almost lost my home. So, you refusing to help me with flea meds leaves my dog open to any issues that can arise from a flea or infestation.  My dog is almost 13 years old and is very healthy,  but you have made me have to ... read more

They terminated me as a client because I questioned their decisions. This is a first. I asked why they charge 250% on a drug and then why they did not suggest the treatments they later offered me only after calling and questioning them as my dog was showing signs of pain. What is worse, my dog is in pain and was going to have an operation done there and now I am at square 1 with an injured dog. This is quite telling in my opinion. Beware everyone.

Took my 4 month old puppy in to get checked up because he wasn't himself. They diagnosed him and sent him home with a meds. 4 days later my son find our puppy dead and there saying it's because we couldn't afford to get more test ran! When they were told multiple times that we will pay for it. And now they won't do anything about his death or my sons trauma. Highly don't recommend the vets are clearly lazy and just about money!

They seem to take good care of my animals but I don't understand why they continue to crop dogs ears. It's mutilation and unnecessary and I can't understand why they follow this practice.

I began taking my animals to this hospital in 2018, but this year I adopted a couple of elderly dogs, my visits are more frequent now and I can see the quality (or lack of such) more clearly. Every single time I leave they have forgotten to put meds in my bag. I asked to have dogs nails clipped, they weren't. The vet this last time kept repeating over and over how badly my dogs ailment was. My animals have a better life than most humans, his illness is important to me, that's why I brought him here. I get it, some people don... read more

Cats appointment was at 1. Arrived at 1230. Sat in car until someone acknowledged me at 1:02 because I had to stop them as they strolled by! So annoying

Cabarrus Animal Hospital is a disgrace. I spend almost $500 for yearly "wellness checks"for my 2 pups. Been going here several years for convenience mostly cause they are very close to home. Never been very excited about any of the docs. Have to go several times a year for nail trims and anal glands.I always tell them I have one with long quick so don't cut too short. Once I came out with a bloody nail and nobody was concerned about her pain, but quick to tell me how to get the blood out of my pants. I don't care about the p... read more
