I have been a client ever since I moved to Charlotte almost 4 years ago. As of right now we have four dogs and they all love it here and especially Dr. Mike! We drive 30-40 mins from Charlotte for every appt because a) we trust we are getting the best care and b) we believe we are getting it at a better rate than comparable practices can provide. We ruff Dr. Robinson!! I had issues at this vet previously & started taking my dogs elsewhere, what changed? Well, I actually had an incident where I had to take them there because they were the only vet that was opened on Saturdays. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly! Dr Kidwell sat on the floor with us and our newly adopted dog until we had no more questions. The vet lab tech (Paul) was very helpful, and the reception ladies were very friendly. We didn't feel rushed (even for the last appointment of the day at 7:30pm) and we felt that the staff valued us and the wellbeing of our dog. My small girl cat was seriously injured by another animal. I took her to a different vet hospital first and their treatment of her was inadequate and incompetent. She was not recovering so I took her to Cab. Animal Hosp. and they treated all her wounds effectively and she quickly recovered. I had a different older cat that developed breast cancer, they told me what my options were and It was apparent that because of her advanced age and the state of the disease that it was time to put her down. I have been taking my animals to Cabarrus Animal Hospital for five years and I'm always pleased with my animals. Weather it's them being treated by the Doctors there or just getting groomed. The Doctors there are great! My favorite go to Doctor is Robinson. I love him. He is kind and treats your animals like there his own. The staff there is awesome to. I've never had to wait and there always smiling when you go in. I highly recommend this hospital for your pets needs. I will never go anywhere else.
My family has been going here for the last 20 years. This place is awesome! The doctors and staff have always been so helpful. They treat us like family. They genuinely care about your pets. I would recommend them to anyone. They also have extended hours now for those of us who already work long hours and cant make it during the business day!
Recently I took my dog who had swallowed some pills to CAH. Dr Robinson and assistant Paul took great care in getting my dog past the danger. They kept me informed about her condition and I calmed down very much seeing she was in the best care. I am forever greatful for their expertise and will continue to take my animals there. Joyce
Only want money not interested in really helping your fur baby. They insisted on expensive Xray after Xray for asthma. Asked for a different treatment since the one they kept giving was not working. Felt my cat was suffering but they refused to try anything else. Took my sweet baby somewhere else and they actually showed concern tried another treatment and my cat can actually breathe and lives like a normal cat now. No thanks to this place!
Haven't been here much since their ridiculous COVID policies (long story) had me tread elsewhere. Came back for a routine update to a vaccination and forgot my wallet at home, unexpectedly. They try to upsell you on all kinds of things to get you to pay more, including now they apparently will not do a vaccination without a wellness exam (cha-ching), which involves nothing more than a 2 minute examination and asking a couple questions.
