My small girl cat was seriously injured by another animal. I took her to a different vet hospital first and their treatment of her was inadequate and incompetent. She was not recovering so I took her to Cab. Animal Hosp. and they treated all her wounds effectively and she quickly recovered. I had a different older cat that developed breast cancer, they told me what my options were and It was apparent that because of her advanced age and the state of the disease that it was time to put her down. I have been taking my animals to Cabarrus Animal Hospital for five years and I'm always pleased with my animals. Weather it's them being treated by the Doctors there or just getting groomed. The Doctors there are great! My favorite go to Doctor is Robinson. I love him. He is kind and treats your animals like there his own. The staff there is awesome to. I've never had to wait and there always smiling when you go in. I highly recommend this hospital for your pets needs. I will never go anywhere else.
Haven't been here much since their ridiculous COVID policies (long story) had me tread elsewhere. Came back for a routine update to a vaccination and forgot my wallet at home, unexpectedly. They try to upsell you on all kinds of things to get you to pay more, including now they apparently will not do a vaccination without a wellness exam (cha-ching), which involves nothing more than a 2 minute examination and asking a couple questions. This is the worst place to take your pet. All anyone should have to say is customer service, it is the worst!!
This place deserves a zero rating. They told me on the phone that I could bring my pet in for a heartworm test and flea prevention medicine. I informed that I could not afford an exam as I go to two different veterinarian clinics. I was on hold for 10 minutes while they confirmed with the doctor that this was possible. So I proceeded in for a visit with my pet. I wanted to thank you for refusing to refill my dog's flea medication due to the fact that I can not afford to bring him in for an exam at the moment. I am a single woman who had her hours cut during covid and was not granted unemployment. I am still trying to dig out the financial hole that put me in. I almost lost my home. So, you refusing to help me with flea meds leaves my dog open to any issues that can arise from a flea or infestation. They terminated me as a client because I questioned their decisions. This is a first. I asked why they charge 250% on a drug and then why they did not suggest the treatments they later offered me only after calling and questioning them as my dog was showing signs of pain. What is worse, my dog is in pain and was going to have an operation done there and now I am at square 1 with an injured dog. This is quite telling in my opinion. Beware everyone.
Took my 4 month old puppy in to get checked up because he wasn't himself. They diagnosed him and sent him home with a meds. 4 days later my son find our puppy dead and there saying it's because we couldn't afford to get more test ran! When they were told multiple times that we will pay for it. And now they won't do anything about his death or my sons trauma. Highly don't recommend the vets are clearly lazy and just about money!
They seem to take good care of my animals but I don't understand why they continue to crop dogs ears. It's mutilation and unnecessary and I can't understand why they follow this practice.
